Gassiev warned Headvetkin that Wilder can punch which is why Headvetkin probably took the meldonium.

And Gassiev had some recent comments about Wlad and Wilder:

"Klitschko is a very clever boxer, he's very smart in the way that he uses his long arms, his height. He just keeps his left out. To those who are shorter, it is impossible to get close to him. He has a very discreet right jab. You simply do not see it, it appears out of nowhere. But I would not say that his jab is super-strong - just a good, strong punch for a heavyweight," Gassiev told Match TV.

"Wilder is the hardest worker I've been in with. [He's the hardest puncher], in addition he has dangerous angles to his attacks that are difficult to understand. If Klitschko has a classic technique, then Wilder is very unusual and his attacks are very difficult to defend against. If you look from the outside, the movements seem clumsy, but in the ring they work in a very efficient manner."

"Outside of training, Wilder plays the fool, laughs.... but when it comes down to it he is completely focused and works to the maximum. He disconnects from his jokes, so he prepares very seriously."

A couple of fighter have mentioned that Wilder's a workhorse, a boxing gym rat, that he's always in the gym.

He's a clever man for sure.

Coming from Gassiev this is big. It shows that Wilder isn't a joke. Gassiev confirms the danger that Wilder presents to anyone, nothing more. I mean Gassiev is sparring heavyweights. My God lol. I've been a fan, but now im a bigger fan lol...

Well at least now your admitting it.

Only took you a few months of trying to foolishly deny it before you finally started to come clean about your love for Wilder, lmmfao

I mean...As much as I like Gassiev he simply couldn't defend against a straight left from Isiah Thomas at all and has no head movement whatsoever so I don't hold a lot of faith in his word on how hard it is to defend against another boxer's arsenal.

I can imagine he does work hard in the gym, always seems in shape. Shame he doesn't put the same effort into making decent, competitive fights.

    Wilder is a exciting fighter.

You can be a champ in the gym, yet what counts is what happens under the lights.

Wilder should fight Ortiz to redeem himself in the states and globally.

AJ got his respect going after a dangerous guy that being Vlad. That's how boxing works and has always worked. You fight the most dangerous guys you get the most respect.

Wilder needs to learn this lesson even if it is literally beaten into him. AJ did, he got flattened by Vlad in front of the world. Then he got back up.

That's what happens at the top levels of boxing. Its a brutal sport.

"It shows that Wilder isn't a joke" ??????

Obviously you are uptight that his level of opposition has been somewhat of a joke to date and your fighting it within you, then you come on here and take it out on everyone that simply admits it openly and honestly. That is so messed up Blizzy. Lmao

Stop hating yourself for Wilders lack of opposition to date and watch how many members you stop disagreeing with.

If MVC can admit it openly and honestly you can as well Blizzy.

Seriously, MVC is a cowardly baby when it comes to being real, if he can do it you can too Blizzy.
