Name me examples of fighters "with a puncher's chance" that actually won?

Naw, Wlad is the only name he won against.

 

David Tua. If he lands that left hook you are done. Had several fights where he was clearly outboxed and losing until he landed the hook and won by stoppage.

Helenius - Duhaupas.

Duhaupas was so dirty, you can't just KTFO a guy with a 1-2 without a warning.

 

Marciano had only a puncher's chance against Walcott since he was behind on points in their first bout.

Mayorca vs Delahoja.

Margarito vs Pacman.

 

Atlas kept telling Moorer that he was in front of a boxer who had a puncher's chance but to no avail.

The best example of this that I can think of is when Carl Thompson was late in his career and taking more punishment. Thompson was a very brave game fighter and was a massive puncher.

Best one I can think of though is Molina vs. Lundy. Lundy was outboxing him and Molina wasn't doing much, waiting for openings but not creating them himself and was too busy defending himself. Then he caught Lundy and hurt him and finished him off soon after.

 

Toney vs Nunn are you serious....Toney is as skilled as they come. Punchers chance my ass.

Same thing happened when Molina fought Bey. Completely outclassed, but won by late hail mary stoppage.
