For heavens sake, who has Joshua beat? a 41 year old china chinned champion. Until I see something against a guy who aint getting aarp cards in the mail I'll go with Norton, Ali never really beat him in 3 fights

Commentators did a good job in ignoring and downplaying everything that Norton did.

 

Norton gets wiped out.

 

Poor chin? We don't really know. That punch that Wlad hit him with would have sent Norton into orbit.

 

Norton was the type of fighter who would give technical boxers nightmares but he never able to deal with big punchers at any point of his career. Joshua KO

Say what you want about Joshua, but he is every bit the puncher that Shavers and Foreman were, and at least in the case of Shavers, he's also a much better fighter in general. Norton gets splattered.

 

Norton gets KO'd. Can't see it any other way.

Joshua`s defense was really good while he was hurt, he blocked about six hooks to survive. AJ isn`t open to left hooks because good positioning with his rear hand, he`s far more open to right hands and that`s how he got decked by Wlad, AJ`s left lead is held a little low but in a fight with Norton a lot of hooks will be blocked, but Norton could throw the hook then come with the right hand in a combo, that would give him a great chance.

 

You think everyone AJ`S size with cut muscle is on PED`s? Name me anyone Norton fought that had AJ`S hand speed combined with his size, he isn`t Jess Willard and do you really think Norton would have come back from the punch that Wlad knocked AJ down with? AJ would have destroyed Cooney. If Norton had a chin this would be a hell of a fantasy fight, AJ`S reach and power would be too much I feel.

 

Cute story. I never said everybody AJ size is on PEDs. But AJ is on steroids, end of story.

AJ is sloppy beyond sloppy and has a glass chin. Norton had a poor chin but had much better skill.

Norton was washed up again Cooney. You are trying to use that as justification? A 39 year old AJ would be stopped by Cooney as well. Hell even this current version of AJ could be stopped by Cooney. As I said AJ can't take a punch is extremely crude and has no footwork.

So as I said if AJ can land early he wins. If Norton is able to land some good shots early he wins.
