Well, I doubt Smith will get a title shot at this point. This fight would be a good win for both fighters and put them in line for a shot imo. Who takes it?
Kalajdzic already beat that overrated bum but he got robbed blind. Smith Jr. would KO him to oblivion.
Browne should rematch Kalajdzic, he did what we all expected him to do with Monaghan who let's be fair is crap.
Smith can't beat Browne. He would have a punchers chance though because Browne takes chances, but Smith Jr isn't fighting at CW and LHW so Browne wins.
Rod knocked out nobody of note at cruiserweight. Smith clearly is the better puncher with knockouts over Hop and Fonfara. Rod wouldn't have stopped them...at least not like Smith did. Smith is the better fighter.
Joe just went 10 with Sullivan Barrera who hits just as hard if not harder than Browne, based on their level of competition, I lean towards the latter, and Joe took his shots fairly well. Browne just KO'd Top Dog and Irish Seanie, one glass jawed, the other a glass jaw waiting to be exposed, can you imagine what Joe would do to both of them, it would be horrifying, that's also the issue, Joe should have been put in with a few more guys like that before being thrown in with a guy that just stopped Slava Shabranskyy. My point is, Joe decapitates the timid Browne after his pathetic gas tank empties around the 5th. Radivoje is a featherfist and he had him flopping around the ring like a dying goldfish for the last 3 rounds, Joe would have him doing the J'Leon Love ass twink face first on the canvass.
Not high on either one but I'd take Browne. They've almost certainly sparred before. Browne and Monaghan had sparred many rounds, and I guess Seannie's management must of thought they had seen something.
I'm picked Joe. Browne was gifted against Kalajdzic. Joe has had very good competition. Monaghan was trash, Browne just couldn't miss, but Smith is a much better fighter.
Let's see, Joe Smith Jr. KO's Fonfara and Hopkins, and loses to top tier Cuban amateur who's only loss is against Andre Ward, coming off of KO victories over current champion Karo Murat and Vyacheslav Shabranskyy. Marcus Browne is coming off of getting his ass beaten by some guy from Serbia who lives in Florida named Hot Rod who's best win is a SD over Lionel Thompson who was KO3 by Kovalev. But bounced back by KOing Top Dog who's been down like 10 times and it still took him 6 rounds to put him away and that top operator, that world beater Seanie Monaghan. Makes perfect sense.
