Everyone knows Mayweather wins the boxing match including these two circus clowns themselves. They will then try to duplicate the payday with an mma fight in which FM taps out within 60 seconds. He won't care about being 0-1 in mma because it won't affect his boxing record. So long as he don't get hurt and he fattens his wallet one more time he just won't care. I reckon the whole thing has been scripted right from the start. For crying out loud they are flying around in the same private jet.

Nope, Floyd has too much pride and has no interest in gambling his health and image when he's the cash cow and Conor has already come to meet him on his terms. It wouldn't make any sense for him. He's a pure boxer and the richest athlete in the world, he'll make a quick check applying his craft on a newb but he's not going to try and adapt to a different sport at 40 and possibly get hurt or embarrassed. I can hear Mcgregor's post fight interview ''ok Floyd you won fair and square but I came over to your side. Let's do it again but this time how about you come over to my side. Let's do it in the octagon.'' Then Floyd '' um ah yer ok.'' The mma fans will be screaming just like on the wwe. Most of the ppv buys for both fights will come from the mma fraternity.
I completely see this happening, MMA fans are already calling for it. It's a joke fight but MMA fans and casuals have poured over this fight. It's gonna do 2 million PPV, I'm certain. And a second MMA fight would do just as well. A sucker is born every minute.
agree 100% this is a ridiculous carnival act. $100 is absurd, but on principal i wouldn't watch it even if it were $1. likewise, the four or five press events in various cities, probably elaborately scripted, as just about everyone on this Thread has already remarked. but was anyone surprised at how vicious were some McGregor's riffs in those press events? Any thoughts on whether those were part of the script? So McGregor says over the microphone, "what is this...a school bag...you can't even *&$#ing read!" there were other riffs by McGregor about Floyd's cash flow issues; for instance, he said that Floyd was wearing a track suit because he couldn't afford a proper suit. again, Floyd is a narcissist, and while he craves attention, that's not the kind he wants. On the other hand, he is "money" Mayweather, so to raise PPV, he'll consent to what must be for him, humiliation.
FM don't get ripped off by nobody. You need to understand the Mayweather psychi. If he fights MP again he would have to seriously train down to 147 in a fight which would generate less than a mma fight with Mcgregor. Mma fans would go wild for that one and would buy it in their millions. He wouldn't even bother training for that fight. All he has to do is get taken down and then walk away with another huge check. He will always take the easiest way out. He is called Floyd ''money'' Mayweather for a reason.
I unfortunately made the mistake of sitting down and watching 10 or 15 minutes of the new york fight presser . . .
