Dave Allen is an excellent measuring stick for all these up n comers.
He's not to be messed around with though, he has a decent enough chin, respectable skills and not feather fisted. I think a few of these prospects will be found out by the white rhino.

    Bit of an understatement.

    But, yes, I agree.

    Would be a wonderful test.

I'm very excited about Dubois, so I'd love to see that match up.

Particularly because Dubois seems to rely a lot on power and hasn't had his stamina tested.

I think David Allen is going to retire after his next loss. Go for Joyce.

I don't like any of these fights for him, since I think they all beat him. Allen needs to get in better shape and take his craft seriously. Ever since his fight with Whyte he's been showing up at 250+ lbs, which isn't going to cut it.

Joyce and Dubois would most likely stop Allen. If he shows up in shape he might be able to beat Thomas in a rematch.

This. He either needs to get serious or give it up.

I think he could beat Thomas in a rematch, a lot of us in the RBR had him winning or drawing the first time around.

I'd like to see the Dubois or Joyce fights though, either fight would give us a good indicator of where Dubois or Joyce are at.

Dubois is a glass cannon, The White Rhino needs to end this hypejob before he gets off the ground, no need in getting people's hopes up to begin with. 3... 2.... 1.... here come all the goons saying Dubois KO's Allen in 1.

I'd be surprised if they threw Dubois or Joyce in with Allen at this stage unless it's a 4 or 6 rounder. He could very well take them late in a fight and could upset the apple cart when one of the young prospects starts to gas. Seems too big a risk at such an early stage.

I've only seen a few hi lights of Dubois, you sound kinda down on him, is his hype bothering you or do you see some big holes in his skills?
