Korobov is the exception, not the rule, he doesn't have the stamina for professional boxing, it has nothing to do with skills. The fact is that most of the greatest boxers of all time were successful amateurs: Ali, Robinson (85-0 as an amateur), Leonard, Whitaker etc. Even Mayweather could have been an Olympic champion, he lost a controversial fight in the semi final. Amateur success matters in the pros, even if there are some exceptions who couldn't cut it at professional level.

And you say that Lomachenko fought 100 nobodies in the amateurs, yet you ignore that he also fought and beat the best: Conceicao and Gaibnazarov were gold medalists in Rio, he also beat Selimov twice, Yasniel Toledo, Oscar Valdez, Felix Verdejo, Andrew Selby.

Yeah , exactly... They all have about 20 good names.. Who are all the other 100's of names.. Nobody really knows.

Ali , Robinson , Leonard etc all turned pro very early..

Hagler was encouraged to stay amateur and go to the Olympics but he chose to turn pro very young for the money instead. His career would have turned out a lot differently had he stayed amateur till he was 25 /26

Lomo would have easily beaten Salido if he had more professional experience. All his 400 wins didn't help him against an ordinary guy who was well seasoned in the pro ranks .

Zou Shiming is another example. Chinas greatest amateur ever . Beaten by tough and durable Runerung.

One could argue that Shiming got several gifts as an amateur and was not as good as his amateur resume suggests. It was especially revolting in the London Olympics, where he won several controversial fights, no wonder he got booed as he stood on the podium to accept his gold medal.

I hate to break it to you, but we both have wins if Burnett gets the decision, you'll have a bonus KO, but we're still even.

Hey man, get used to it, most UK fights end in a SD, except for the ones you pick to end in a SD. See that's what I was talking about when I said my record would be in the 700's without all the robberies. this **** can get frustrating as hell.

This is one of those fights were I was 85% confident Burnett would win a UD & 15% of me thought he might win a late TKO but would never place a bet on it due to these fixed SD results.

This fight had the right ingredients for a possible fixed SD cards

well you clearly see something in CEJ that i don't.

i suppose i've had a critical view of CEJ over the past two years because of his and his father's antics in the press (which might be 99% due to Sr not Jr) and because of his relative inactivity and fight selection.

i suppose he's settled into 168 (this will be his second fight at this weight) and his camps will be less tedious because he'll make weight easier--i'm assuming that was at least part of the motivation to move up to SMW, not just that there was a soft touch with a world title (marginal or not)

one thing for certain, just by virtue of who his father's legacy, and by virtue of having been born in the UK, he has a fan base like no other in the world ready to support him wherever and whomever he fights--provided he's up for it

someone i know has just said..
I truely think megregor will knock him out, he has so much speed and 1 punch knockout power, and i think there's a few belts on the line? IBO and IBF i think, if megregor wins he will have 2 world titles in ufc and all the belts in boxing.
    I have no words.

Hahaha that is brilliant. Better than mine.
Ive seen it a lot on twitter and heard a few people say, not in these "exact" words, but along the lines of.

"Klitshcko is old and lost to Fury who is trash, if Joshua wants to prove he is the best he should fight Mayweather".

haha jesus, i don't get how people enjoy watching boxing when they know so little about it.
casuals also say 'he's a bum' when they actually mean: they don't know who he has fought or who he is.
