    No, it doesn't.

Smith was getting OUTCLASSED by Barrera. Period, end of. The gulf in talent was considerable.

Probably from that uppercut that Barrera landed on him. With that said Smith jr has a great chin.

Only idiots would talk smack. Fighting with a broken jaw is nuts. I would quit. **** that. The pain has to be insanely bad.

A broken jaw has ZERO effect on Smith's utter LACK of defense. Somebody needs to teach him how to move his head. Maybe if Smith had been moving his head, the Barrera uppercut wouldn't have landed as cleanly and FREQUENTLY as it did and Smith could have saved himself a broken jaw. Like I said, Smith got OUTCLASSED - broken jaw had NOTHING to do with it...

Honestly, his corner is even more idiot than him. I dont have any fighter but, had I, I would never ever let him fight with a broken jaw. Even if I know he'll fire me after the fight and dont pay to me. Because I'm no idiot.

Some boxers, such as Vitali, choose to quit because they are fully aware of the consequences of fighting on with a serious injury. They simply don't want to risk their entire career on proving that they can fight while seriously injured. When being interviewed on the show Sabado Gigante after the Taylor fight, Chavez senior said that he didn't believe that the brain could suffer injury from boxing.

Is that always an admirable trait? Doesn't common sense dictate that we sometimes quit? It could mean the difference between staying normally alive or going into a coma.

Such corner negligence isn't always based on idiocy. It can be based on malicious intent.

Do you mean to throw your fighter there to fight with a broken jaw for the sake of him being hurt?. Jesus! you need to be such a ******* to do so....

Sad as it is to admit, cunning betrayals are a common occurrence in human behavior. The battle of the Tuetenbuirg forest was won based on betrayal of the Roman general by a man he considered as a son. Cost the Roman general his own life along with the destruction of his legions.

    Same film different actors

    BTW
This is illustrated in the film Requiem of a Heavyweight starring Anthony Quin as a HW boxer on his last legs who is being betrayed by his manager who bet against him. You can probably watch it on youtube.
