Current issue of Ring magazine with Joshua on the cover. Inside the article the state of the game.
I have the issue. Not sure there is an online link.

People sleeping on Leo and Frampton both have great comp lined up in what will be the most stacked division in boxing by far with Russell and Selby + top prospects like Warrington, Rey Vargas, Joe Diaz and Pagara

Yep. I think it's the best , Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight are the two best and most stacked and exciting divisions in boxing. I'm interested to know what divisions they had higher than Cruiserweight? Please don't say Welterweight! the Welterweight division is overrated and looking very thin right now.

Lomachenko and Usyk were P4P number 1 and 2 in the amateurs and I expect the same in the pros and for a long time.

Derevyanchenko and Gvozdyk look like elite potential P4Pers too. the Ukrainian flag is gonna be flying a lot in boxing in the coming years.

cruiserweight is easily top 3 right now for excitement, but not necessarily for quality in my opinion. when tony bellew is knocking out a guy who's halfway up your top ten list, and past-prime veterans like lebedev and huck are super competitive with guys who are arguably top 3 or 4, you can't exactly claim to be the most stacked division in boxing. i couldn't give a **** though, it might be the most FUN, and i'm as excited about this tournament as just about anything coming up on the schedule.

i'm a little surprised people are just ignoring chocolatito on these lists. he's still probably number 1 if you discount the dubious loss, and only turned 30 last month. expecting guys like parker, gassiev and frampton to be ahead of him in three years is kind of nuts to me.

a few guys i could see making the list by then: spence (i can see him beating thurman, porter and garcia if given the chance, which would likely be enough), bivol (as much potential as gvozdyk), andrade if he ever becomes active again (big if), maybe someone like benavidez or valdez if they're moved quickly enough. realistically though i don't think it'll be too different to now, 'cept mikey and usyk will be on there.

Wishful thinking on your part ;) Keep the faith, DOE! It will make what's inevitably coming to boxings rankings all the more fun to watch.
