I got proof no discernible punch landed on him. That kind of proof. Now take your halitosis elsewhere.

Actually Ortiz tested positive twice for more hardcore substances than Povetkin. And yet now if true Wilder is fighting him. Those are the facts. Not sure if Ortiz is top 5 but he is top 10.
Here's a direct quote from Wilder not Dibella on ped users

This case right here was the first step to let all these other fighters know that there’s consequences behind your actions that will be applied to you, if you decide to use. But there needs to be something else even more deeper than taking this money. They need to take their careers away from them, because this is ridiculous.”

^ kind of odd he was so strong against it he wanted their careers taken away and now he's willing to line his and their pockets.

Speaks volumes his words not mine

Wilder is crazy to turn down the limited Whyte for 4 million to turn around and fight the dangerous and unknown Ortiz. But as a boxing fan, YES!

Yeah. I hope the fight happen but I'm not sure it will. I mean it doesn't make a lot of sense. Ortiz is a better fighter than Whyte. And Wilder turned down 4 million to fight Whyte.

How much is Wilder getting for this Ortiz fight? I can't imagine Wilder is getting 4 million or more for this fight. This is boxing. Usually guys take the easier fight. And if the easier fight is for more money then that's a no brainer. What's going on here?

The only thing I can think of is maybe Wilder wasn't confident he could knock Whyte out and he was afraid if it went to the cards in the UK he would get robbed.

Maybe he was just afraid of leaving Alabama.

    Ortiz would come, Whyte wouldn't.

I don't care how old Ortiz is he is still light on his feet and hit hard as hell. Props to Wilder IF he really takes this fight. Let's not forget Joshua may get stripped of his WBA belt and this could turn into a unification fight. Ortiz has a good chance of beating Wilder. This is a big step up by Wilder. AJ does not have the balls to fight Ortiz.

Agreed. Ortiz is still very much a huge threat.

He seems to have a good chin from what I've seen. Ortiz will put Wilder to sleep and become the WBC WBA champion. About time Wilder steps up and fight Ortiz who Joshua has been ducking. Ortiz earned his title shot with that beat down of Jennings. Jennings said Ortiz hits a lot harder than Wlad Klitschko and has more speed. Whoever wins this fight is the real world champion. But knowing boxing this fight will not happen.

Nothing unusual in the age area.

George foreman won the HW belt at 45 after knocking out the young Moorer.

Hopkins became champ at 48 by beating a younger opponent.

Sugar Ray Malinga became champ at 41.

Duran beat a younger Barkley when Duran was 38.

Jersey Joe Walcott became champ at 37.

Corrie Sanders beat a young Vladimir Klitscho at age 37.

Daniel Zarragoza became champ at 38.

Azumah Nelson became champ at 37.

    They were all geriatric?
