Is Flanagan ducking Verdejo?

Frank's probably told him to swerve it as it's a fight he most likely loses and if he was to lose his belt it gives them no leverage in a potential money fight with Crolla.

 

Warren said verdejo didn't want the fight with Flanagan just last week, he really should keep his big mouth shut.

 

I smell a FW cowpat.....not heard anything from FW about the pullout as usually he'd issue one of those long how sad he is statements so wonder if all ok between them? Maybe it's genuine saying that.

No doubt. Like I said, I scored it for Horn but at least he seems a nice enough bloke. if a decision is going to seem a bad one in your eyes then better it go to him than someone like ****ing Broner

 

I think Crolla's status as a favourite was due to betting patterns in Manchester rather than a cold eyed assessment of the fighters. I went to the press conference and Gallagher was at pains to point out that Linares was a 4 time, 3 weight champion. Without a rematch clause, it would not have happened. The first fight was evenish till the 6th, but from then on Linares won at least 16 of 18 rounds fought and floored Ant.

Its great to hear different opinions on Flanagan, I think his southpaw stance, power and durability would give Linares problems, but by no means do I think it is more than 55-45 either way. Garcia beats him, but then Garcia is a P4P contender
