Honestly, yeah. Martin was like the worst heavyweight champion ever. Probably ****ing everyone wanted to fight him. That's a pretty tempting offer to anyone.

Martin is at like Arreola's level anyway. Likely worse.

So criticize him for that. That sounds like a reasonable complaint to me.

Give me a break. It's entirely obvious that he was avoiding Povetkin by trying to beg the WBC to allow him to fight a voluntary instead, then when they refused, he attempted to outright pay off Povetkin, then attempted to unify with Martin instead of fighting Povetkin, and then finally he was forced to fight him or be stripped.

I'm not going to blame a boxer for wanting to fight a champion.

Yes, Wilder has a shitty resume, appears to have zero ambition, and is probably terrified of any top boxer like Joshua, Povetkin, or even Wlad.

But wanting to fight a champion is shitty evidence of that.

Wilder is using Ortiz' hame, he intends on fighting his set-up fight against an old, out of shape, fat, inactive Stiverne. Wilder will blame the WBC, but the WBC is an org. who's job is to protect Wilder, and they are............

No , thats a lie. They tried to unify with Martin , thats all and there was nothing wrong or 'disgusting ' about it.

It was Povetkin who put in a request to postpone the mandatory for a voluntary fight , NOT Wilder.

Povetkin had the Wilder fight after he beat Perez but then decided he wanted a tune -up against Mariuz Wach in NOVEMBER - 5 months after the 90 seconds he spent with Perez in May.
Then it was another 6 months before he was ready to go ahead with the Wilder fight.

He didn't need that Wach fight , but took it either as a tune-up or to wash all the roids out of his system. But regardless he wasted a year out of Wilders career who at that time had only been the champ for 12 months.

The blame for Wilder and his 5 voluntaries lies entirely on Povetkin. He is the sole cause for this whole mess. Including Stiverne still being the mandatory since he was supposed to knock him off the list but the moron came up positive for peds second time in a row in the same year.

Haha Dino, you just admitted above that Wilders opponents are as you said, "a mess" ,,

See you are capable of being honest sometimes.

Just admit it gracefully and move on Dino.

Don't try to reply to me, don't forget what happened the last few times.

It is a mess, you're correct.

You let it slip out that means from now on everytime you try to claim its not a mess you are full of crap as per usual lmmfao

Because he has to fight Wlad rematch, then a mando, then he will want a big money fight...
Wilder brings nothing to the table in terms of money, this has been explained numerous times to you in another thread, he cant sell out his hometown and he will bring no PPV money.
If Hearns plan works out he will have Parker, who will have beaten Fury in the UK and then Whyte in the UK = Big money AJ fight.
If AJ's aim is making money why would he silly himself with Wilder when he could fight the money fight he wants against Parker?
Unless Deontay wants to do something to earn an AJ payday he will not be a priorirty. Just someone that runs their mouth and fights cans.

i bet once Wilder beats Stiverne, somehow another former opponent of Wilder will become his mando. thanks to wbc handing out the mando position like candy.

who knows...maybe in short time, we'll find out Eric Molina will be his new mando or anyone that sorta went the distance or was a threat like Duhaupas or Nichols or Sconiers lol.

This. AJ will go for the fights which give him the most money, Wilder right now is very low on that list. There are many more lucrative fights out there, Wlad rematch, Fury, even Haye, Whyte and soon enough even Parker will be in a better position because he's fighting in the UK against UK fighters, and where is the money? in the UK. Big mistake for Wilder not to fight Whyte because he would have propelled himself quite far up that list.

Put mandatories into that and then Wilders very low down. The frustrating part is that it has so much potential, if Wilder steps up and get's himself known it could be a huge fight and a great fight.

Let's have it right and look at he rankings instead of just calling em bums,Wlad is no 2 in the rankings,Pulev no five I think,I can't even find Stiverne on Box rec and Washington is way down,so based on that who isn't a bum,you can only fight those in the division so let's say top 15 and see what transpires
