It would be fine if Wilder was doping something himself to buidl the fight. But making stupid instagram videos announcing you will be making an announcement isnt doing anything. Theres talk of Ortiz, Wilder knows he has a mando and Stiverne has already said that he is next (doesnt deserve it i agree) but all it means is wilder has reverted to talking about fighters when he/they are tied up with other stuff. Maybe if he did try going Hearns route he might get somewhere in regards to an AJ megafight, his current method of getting close to the Joshua payday he desires dont work. He should try something/someone elses method, and Hearns method would have gotten him it. He made a mess of it and now Parker is getting it instead.

Joshua and Wilder can't become the lineal or undisputed champion without fighting each other. They will have to fight each other as long as they are holding trinkets.

Joshua has already said he wants to make money, he wants the money fights, he doesnt care about fighting Wilder for way less than he could make fighting someone else. Once you accept it, you will understand why Wilder has just placed himself way down the pecking order for Joshua.

Whats gonna happen is Joshua will fight Parker next year and its a very winnable fight.
Then he is gonna have 3 of the 4 major belts, wads of cash, a queue of fighter chasing him, the ability to sell out Stadiums and generate huge PPV Numbers.
He will look at the names on the list, lets say hypothetically that Tyson Furys name is on that list, not only that, lets say he is in shape and got a decent tune up under his belt....

He is gonna look at it and be like right okay, lets look at Wilders record in more detail.... 40 fights, impressive! Actually, hmmm no big names, struggled with Molina, im sure i knocked him out in round 3 and i dont think he even punched back at me. What sort of crowds does he get? Hmm cant sell out his own town, less than 15,000, not great. Whats his PPV drawing power? Oh, oh i see, nevermind lol.

Okay lets look at Fury, hes back, had a tune up which he looked pretty clever in. Beat Klitschko first, he will have huge drawing power if we go at it, could definitely sell out Wembley again, ill make great big wads of cash if i fight him two big British HW's, that will sell.

Joshua : "Eddie, set it up with Tyson Fury, forget Deontay Wilder hes not much value"
Hearn : "Righto Josh, will get on it right away, btw what is a Deontay Wilder?"

Negative. Eubank was a free agent and was on a fight by fight contract with Matchroom like Groves.
Brook was signed to Showtime , they bought the rights to broadcast his fights , it takes a long time to decide whether Showtime or HBO would air the fight , its not something that can be ironed out overnight.
Hearn was obviously cutting a deal with Loefler , HBO and Showtime behind closed doors all along.

He wasn't given a contract , they were in negotiation process only.

Brook more than likely had already signed the contact already. They probably had the fight done when Brook called GGG out 3 months earlier.

He wasn't turning down millions on Sky PPV. He was still getting his mega pay day in a cake walk against a welter weight.
Why fight Eubank when you can make the same money against Brook.

Team Eubank weren't given the opportunity to come to a reasonable solution. One min they were in talks , the next min GGG vs Brook was announced.
As I said , why weren't they told that Brook was about to be offered the fight? Why the secrecy if they were sincere about the fight?

Yes , and Hearn made a blunder with the PPVs.

Brook was scheduled to fight Vargas on PPV and there was no way he could put GGG vs Eubank on PPV in the same month.
He needed out of the Vargas PPV as he had massively overpaid him to come over and there wasn't a lot of interest in the fight to turn a profit.
It was either make GGG vs Eubank or give it to Brook who had a headline PPV written into his contract.. In the end Hearn gave it to the guy who has the long running contract with Matchroom past and present.

What does Wilder have that we should be scared of exactly? A powerful right hand and terrible boxing skills? The ability to decision Stiverne? The stamina to go 9 rounds with Molina then knock him out? The ability to beat Washington mid-fight after being outboxed before then?

Like it or not there is a pecking order for AJ.
AJ picks his fights, if Wilder got his pick he would have AJ, but he doenst. Aj is the man everyone wants to fight, the draw, the money in the division. He chooses who he fights after Wlad and his mando, Wilder aint gonna be high on that list after making a mess of his offer from Hearn. Looking forward to Wilder v Stiverne 2, 3 and 4 followed by his video announcement announcing when his next announcement will take place though.
