What the hell is going on with the undercard? Where are the opponents? Surely boxers would do anything to get this kind of exposure??? Has to be down to greed
I still like Golovkin in this fight. Yes, he's starting to get old and Canelo has improved. However, apart from the age factor I can't see what real advantages Canelo has.
But, I agree, those are the things that worry me most. We've had a lot of smoke and mirrors recently. I like both fighters, but age aside, I think Golovkin is more fundamentally sound technique wise, with better footwork, more power and a better chin. If Canelo does have any advantage in hand speed it isn't by much and Golovkin is a better counter puncher. I still think this a competitive match up and a very good fight, but Golovkin surely has the edge.
Yes he does and that is quite an advantage indeed, maybe the decisive one. Golovkin knows this of course. Although this fight may well go the distance I don't rule out Golovkin stopping Canelo. He's surely going to try.
