I think Wilder can pull it off, but Ortiz has the better boxing ability. Size and youth to wilder, skills to Ortiz. Both can punch. Very close fight and if it gets made the odds should reflect that as we still have questions re Wilder.

This fight isn't going to happen so it's pointless to do any kind of breakdown unless you enjoy indulging in fantasy fight scenarios. Anyway, unless Ortiz turns old overnight he should easily dispatch Wilder. The Stiverne fight was a long time ago, and since then Wilder has deteriorated badly. I doubt he can replicate the same sort of performance against Ortiz, and he'll need to be even sharper than he was then.
