Sure attaboi. Learn boxing rules first, you don't even know the difference between a knockdown and a standing 8 count as you demonstrated in the Tony Weeks thread, you dumb ****. And those are basic rules.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standing_eight_count

A standing eight count, also known as a protection count, is a boxing judgment call made by a referee during a bout. When invoked, the referee stops the action and counts to eight. Typically, a boxer can take 3 standing eight counts in a round. During that time the referee will determine if the boxer can continue. When the count reaches eight, the referee often moves back two steps and instructs the boxer to walk towards them and hold their arms out. This helps the referee determine if the boxer is functioning and alert enough to continue. If the boxer is unsteady on his feet, or seems unable to focus on the referee, the bout is ended on account of a TKO.

It was designed to protect boxers by allowing the referee to step in and give an overwhelmed fighter an eight-second respite.

actually he was kinda happy to fight nobodies until he was in his thirties.

he showed interest in fighting nobodies for the unrecognised IBO belt until he was 32, when he got a free pass to take the vacant (?) WBA belt.

The guy who faced Mayweather when he was 23/4? canelo is fighting him this year. so...

You believe a fighter cannot be passed their prime w/o having fought any wars? There's already plenty of proof many avoided him. Nice try...

And how does that help your case exactly? Copying wikipedia articles doesn't change the fact that you had no idea what could be called a knockdown you stupid casual. If a fighter is unable to stand without assistance of the ropes due to a punch that is a knockdown. A standing 8 count can only be called when there is NO knockdown but the fighter appears hurt. Of course IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO title fights do not allow the standing eight-count that's why I said Weeks should have called it a knockdown. You disputed that, you thought I was talking about a standing 8 count when I wasn't, that showed your lack of boxing knowledge.

Read and learn you dumb middle school dropout:

So according to your logic, because he didn't move up to face Ward, that means no one else avoided 3G? Great logic you are displaying.

Those were strictly money and exposure fights. Everyone knows it, but for some reason, you think you've found the 'key' to deconstructing fan posts? non-title money fights where they indicated they would take them, if available, and move back to 160 to continue unification. You aren't that good alt. All you are doing is showing how naive you are.

I named you 3 guys that wanted to face him. Accept it, Govokin is not about that life. He's a cherry picker, and is aware of his limitations. challenges of that nature are for Elite like Ward, Mayweather and pack.

So it's about money now? I like how you fanboys use that money excuse when it's convenient.

**** you too *****. At one time Ward was accused on this board for calling Golovkin out instead of Kovalev. I swear some of you said no way was he ever gonna take the challenge. Two years later, Kovalev is son'd by Ward with two L's and his record and you beta males are here crying every single day.
