If a fighter is unable to stand without assistance of the ropes due to a punch that is a knockdown. A standing 8 count can only be called when there is NO knockdown but the fighter appears hurt. Of course IBF, WBA, WBC and WBO title fights do not allow the standing eight-count that's why I said Weeks should have called it a knockdown.
