Thanks. I showed the picture to A former bodybuilder i know (who doesent know a **** about boxing)

And he guessed closer to 20% for both.

And he's got no boxing interest or nostalgica bias at all. Just looking at body definitions and facts.

This Picture of chubby Ali and chubby Fraizer:http://imgur.com/a/ibCg8

He barely knows who they are. Just Looked at the Picture and guessed at nearly 20%BF for both Ali and Fraizer.

You really need a bodybuilding background to figure out bodyfat etc. More and more people like us understand it though.

And this is prime 201 pounds Ali of 1966:

    And: - https://www.google.se/search?q=muhammad+ali+vs+henry+cooper+2+weight+in&client=ms-android-samsung&prmd=ivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj54Pjj9Z3VAhVmG5oKHZCuA2sQ_AUICSgB&biw=360&bih=560#imgrc=PwUlpGEDw5W5NM:

But this is the best Picture from the weigh in:

What do you think his BF% is here coming in at just 201 pounds?

Higher or lower than Joshua or klitschko?

I think he looks kinda soft - still.

Wouldnt he have an easy time going for cruiser weight today?

Again, what point are you trying to make?

    Ali had a great physique.

He didn't look soft in that last picture.

He wouldn't be a CW today.

Joshua is too big. His body is under too much stress carrying around all that mass. It's already nearly cost him a fight against Wlad.

Boxing and bodybuilding are too entirely different things.

Whilst you may think that Joshua looks awesome, he would actually benefit by losing mass and coming in lighter.

Ali do not look fat on that last Picture. Bit kinda soft compared to Joshua or Klitschko.

Also he just weights 201 pounds there. (In his so called all time high) 66-67's Ali. (Personally I prefer fat Ali from the 70's)

He would most definitly been a cruiser today. If he was trying to move up he would fail big time against Big men - just like Haye, Holyfield, Chambers and Cunningham...

Stop hating. Open your eyes and start looking at facts.

Time changes. Welcome to the real world - sad or not.

I favor Ali against Golovkin and Joshua against Ali.

The weight ratio is 1.25 in both scenarios - just the same.

    Time to wake up.

Your percentages are way off. 7% bodyfat is close to contest shape for professional bodybuilders. It'd be suicide to go into the ring that depleted; you'd be weak as a kitten and gas out in a couple of rounds.

Plus, if Joshua is 7% bodyfat at 245lbs then he's got the same FFMI as a prime Arnold, which means any notions of him being a clean athlete go flying out the window.

Ali's weight fluctuated a lot in 1966. He weighed 215lbs when he fought Chuvalo a few months before the London fight.

This is Ali at a very lean 220lbs vs Ellis, he's still very fast and light on his feet. I think this is around the weight he would fight at if he competed today.

Ali didn't look soft, and again, Joshua is too big.

    What facts?

No, he wouldn't have been a CW, and what has Haye and Chambers etc, got to do with Ali?

Also, how did Holyfield fail big time against big men?

It's you who needs to wake up.

Like a lot of fools who post on here, you need to lay off the stats and start watching some actual fights.

ALL big men have fallen to much lesser fighters than Ali. It wasn't Ali's size or power that made him unique, but his speed, reflexes, timing, and ring IQ. Joshua, the Klits, Fury, etc are all very good, but at their best they still looked pretty beatable. Not Ali.
