Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought landed punches play a significant role in the scoring of a boxing match. Especially when landing nearly twice the amount of punches. Can anyone post the punch statistics from the night of the fight? It would be an interesting comparison.

 

I haven't seen the "Why Hillary beat Trump" one either.

 

Mayweather is a master of sweet science, except for KO scoring punch, you hardly see any weakness.
I thought Pac fought well, However that version of Pac has been KOed and had evolved into more of a master boxer, he lost his distinctive advantage and that played into mayweather's wheelhouse.
I did believe pac landed a lot of punches but lots of the impact are taken off by Mayweather back peddling, rolling and slipping, while mayweather landed the more cleaner punch.

 

Yes we know there is other criteria other than landing punches. What you don't know and what many other self proclaimed experts don't know is those factors only come into it if you can not tell who has landed the most number of effective punches with the knuckle part of the glove in the scoring area. I am not sticking up for MP just pointing out that decisions in boxing are so controversial because most people who think they know actually don't know how to score a fight.

Tbh it's not a fight that I'd be bragging about if I was a fan of Floyd Joy....he basically ran from a semi shot midget who'd been KTFO in better fashion by JMM recently.

Pac was on the verge of KOing the Roided Monster of Mexico, but got lazy and got iced. But Pac wasn't the only thing KO'd that night. Roidquez singlehandedly ruined his legacy and now he's known as a roid fiend and has been battling the side effects of his roid abuse for 3+ years trying to come back to the sport.

I get that it is obviously scored it real time etc and I personally think compubox is ridiculously unreliable but I don't understand people thinking watching it over in slow motion is pathetic/ridiculous etc. Slow motion replays have always been used in sports to determine what actually happened. That's the whole point of watching things back in slow motion.
