Pretty interesting crossroads fight and it could potentially happen as Fast car Eddie tweeted on his twitter that there will be a show in Manchester on october 7th.

If at 135ib I expect Crolla to win as Ricky's on the slide. Both at there best Ricky would have won all day long IMO but he's certainly not at his best anymore. Points win Crolla.

    Crolla points.

Burns should just retire now he's damaging his legacy more and more with each loss.

You could be right, would be a farce as non of them would be a genuine top 10 LWW on world scene but money talks !!

i would assume it would be in Manchester on October 7th but Tesco Joe tweeted earlier a pic of callum smith and crolla in his gym saying great training session or something with the hashtag awaydays. We know that smith is fighting in Liverpool on September 16th so maybe crolla is fighting burns in Scotland on another date?

I would assume Glasgow would pull in a bigger crowd than Manchester so would make sense to have it there. Also think that Hydro looks better than MEN Arena when on tv.

If Ricky lost this do you guys think that the Josh Taylor/Burns fight wouldnt be made? Big money fight that for both. Prob the biggest ticket out ther for both burns and Taylor at the moment

Burns shouldn't take that fight unless cyclone pay him a load of money like they paid Ohara Davies, taylor beats him i think.

He's probably fighting for money. Remember he lost that court case with Frank Warren and pretty much lost all of his career earnings to that point. I agree he should retire from a competitive standpoint but if he can squeeze a couple more decent purses, he's entitled to do it.

I expect Burns to win this. His broken jaw, he's not so keen to get in to a scrap and bigger fighters at 140 are closing range as Ricky doesn't have reach advantage for his jab at 140. Crolla will be smaller, doesn't have KO power. I could see Ricky boxing like against Katsidis, Moses with a sprinkling of a battle here and there to outbox Crolla. Good fight though. Burns does not beat Taylor at 140, neither would Crolla.

Burns is absolutely finished. He'd have handed it in after Beltran if he wasn't totally skint.
