Kovalev Files Protest With NSAC To Change Ward Loss To An NC...!!!

Yeah, remember all that mumbo jumbo about how Kov would punish Ward if Ward went dirty. LOL If they were in prison, Ward would've made Kovalev do things he'd rather not......if you know what I mean!

Kovalev was getting KO'd no matter what. Ward had him on sh** street when he landed the hook. It was only the 6th round and Kov was dead tired. trust me i can troll with the best of them but Kov met his match. Ward has him figured out. He needs to move on

Kovalev needs to fight corruption with more corruption. Which is why it is best if he can appeal to Putin for him to set the Russian mafia on to some of these powerful men behind the NSAC or on Ward and his people so they get the message in no uncertain terms that what they did was wrong.

 

Kovalev will not get the NC, the NSAC has not been very good to foreign fighters.

 

There's no real denying he was sitting in the ropes and couldn't keep his hands up to defend himself.

There's also no real denying the FINAL shot that put him in that position was clearly low, making it an illegal blow.

Much like the fight before that one that ended with a KO after the bell.

There's no need to make it a no contest. If the referee (Weeks) criteria for stopping a fight is "the fighter is staggered and is getting hit with body shots plus a low blow that 'accidentally' got in there". Then Kovalev forced the referee to stop the fight since Andre Ward was never in that situation.

However, they need to give everybody their money back because they got ripped off by a referee with the most ridiculous, wussy criteria for stopping a fight that I have never seen in all of my years of watching boxing.

I have yet to see a fight stopped because of body shots and a low blow.

How is it sad to complain after getting ripped off 70$? That's right, some of us don't even care about who won, we just don't want PPV fights to be stopped under ridiculous pretenses "body shots and a low blow to top it off".

they should set up a rematch immediately and make it free of charge. You would have to be completely stupid to want to pay another cent to watch a fight involving any associates of this fight.

that's a conspiracy theory. Eveyrbody knows that NSAC has everybodies best interests to heart. I am sure they will give everybody their money back for the, pardon my language, bull**** stoppage.

 

I don't know if your right (you seem sure of yourself I guess your a clairvoyant and never get predictions wrong), but I would have LOVED to see that. Instead the fight was stopped before its conclusion and thus we were all ripped off. Tell me this, why should I continue to buy Andre Ward fights after being hussled over televisin by Ward father (weeks)

 

Kov had difficulty keeping his hands up prior to the stoppage. Especially after shipping that right hand to the head.

Fight was stopped because Kovalev wasn't making any really effective effort at defending himself for about 45 seconds. His body language was terrible. I may not like the stoppage any more than you do, but Kovalev could certainly have made a better attempt to keep his form in the seconds that preceded in order to convince Weeks not to step in when he did.

 

I agree Kovalev should have done a better job at throwing back. I am glad we agree it was bad stoppage. I would also like to add that I would have felt more satisfied if Ward started throwing some head shots at Kovalev after he bent over, it would have made the stoppage seem more legidimate.
