Let's hope butler can cram in some good fights. Make up for lost time. Can't understand how warren didn't seem to get him fights at anything like a decent level of activity....there's plenty of options, abroad and domestically ..Jamie conlon, McDonnell etc etc

He's with Gallagher now isn't he... wouldn't be surprised if Liam smith isn't far behind him.

Joe Gallagher and frank warren don't seem to have been getting on to well lately...

Easy for Eddie to put the winner in with McDonnell now as they were messed about by Frank and co with regards to McDonnell v Butler.

A fight no one asked for, but it isn't a bad one by any means.

I don't think Frank fancied having to pay McDonnell a fortune to come over and easily beat Butler in a boring fight which probably wouldn't sell that well. Plus Butlers contract was running out.

Hearn can now easily make that fight for much less and chuck it on a PPV undercard or something.

Eddie seems to have Sims in the south and Joe G covering the north.
    They are becoming matchroom trainers

I suppose you are referring to McDonnells physical advantages. Yes that will be a problem for Paul. It's a bit like Frampton v Selby. In both cases the better boxer could lose to a man who is all wrong for them.

100% agree. Butler seems confident about the McDonnell fight. Wonder if they have sparred a few rounds in the past. With McDonnell struggling at the weight only has to get past that long jab, don't think he hits as hard as tete either.

Never really rated Butler even before the Tete fight when everyone was hyping him I just couldn't see it. Thought he was lucky to beat Hall the first time and will probably get a decision no matter what in this one.

Can't see him beating McDonnell or Burnett after though

Think Butler missed weight in a fight last year and this cost him another world title shot. Havent been impressed by him since teaming with Gallagher. Should beat Hall but not sure how much further he can go.
