I think Dillian would beat Liston as well.

I rate Fraizer higher as well, but if you want a measuring stick on how 60s Ali would fare against a guy like Fraizer, Liston is the fight you go with.

Look I rate Ali higher point blank, but I'm not one to gloss over an 8 division champ including stoppage victories over MAB and Cotto so easily.

Without all the fat, Chisora who beat Whyte in my book isn't bigger than Liston, and is far less talented.

I rate Pacquaio too, relax. Saying that Ali is irrefutably greater isn't a diss.

Nearly 4 Years of His Prime not Fighting....3 Time Heavyweight Champion and won his last one when He was 32 against an absolute Prime 24 Year Old Monster in Foreman..... Never TKo'd in a career that seen Him Fight way to long....take almost 4 Years of any Fighters Prime away from them and see how they fair......The Greatest end of story.!!!!

Ali was in a very select group as GOATs. It would have to include Sugar Ray Robinson who as a natural 147 lb went fought as high as 175 lbs successfully. Henry Armstrong who held 3 weight classes when weight classes were not 5 lbs apart. You could make an argument for Ray Leonard, Floyd Mayweather (At least on record and who he fought) and Paq (All though the longer he fights the more people forget how good he was) It is very difficult to compare when they come from different weights and different eras. Calling Ali "another slick Heavyweight is like saying Pele was "another good soccer player."

    Ali is the GOAT!

Not necessarily because he is the number one but because he has acclaimed "The Greatest Of All Time" as his status.

Being the GOAT one has to do things in as well as outside the ring and go beyond boxing.Ali did that and,he became a forever known figure forever and made boxing more popular than anyone at least at HW.

is he the BEST fighter in itself ? not if you are being realistic.I dont mix greatest and best bc its not logical.

It must be written somewhere on the HW Blog that Ali went life n death with Mildenburger because all the spill overs repeat that myth ad nauseam.

Galvatwonk was on here in the past claiming Mildenurger floored Ali with a body shot. This is what you're dealing with here.
