yeah they should be matched with tough durable journeymen at their own weight.

The last min sub for Dubious last time was atrocious - that's not in doubt. But the kid is only 19 so what's the rush?

Let's see where Frank steers Yarde over the next few fights. He is only on his 12 fight and didn't really have any amature fights so he's learning on the job. He is on the September 16th card so it should be interstesing to see who frank brings in. He seems quite keen on the Buglioni fight which is a good sign for a possible near future fight.

Are you serious? This must be trolling.

Yarde is the hottest prospect in the country. Everyone is talking about him.

Yarde is getting bigger by the week. The guy is huge. BT have made him their No. 1 fighter.

im not saying he should be fighting top 20 heavyweights, but there is no point in him fighting a light heavyweight journeymen and its dangerous. He should fight jason gavern type fighters, heavyweights that are experienced and relatively durable journymen

the perfect fight is Burton, Hearn said in the ifl interview that burton '120% wants that fight' and yarde will get paid very well for it and the winner can then fight for the british, hopefully yarde doesn't pull out to fight another tomato can for a higher WBO (Warren Boxing Organisation) ranking.

    Yes, i am serious. I'm not saying he isn't a good fighter/prospect.
But you can't say everybody is talking about him in the way everyone was talking about AJ when he had 10 or 11 fights. BT are doing good promotion compared to boxnation but if you ask any casual type fan who is anthony yarde then they won't know who is but im sure a lot more people know who ohara davies is. I'm just saying that if you are on sky sports then you will be more known. For example sky sports news HQ gets hundreds of thousands if not millions of viewers and they show coverage of press confrences and weigh in's etc from matchroom shows meaning they get shown more to the casual sports fans

exactly, this guy is clueless. I wasn't saying yarde isn't a good prospect, i said he would be more well known if he was on sky. fact.

To give some leeway, that guy was a last minute stand in I believe. It was originally against a young Mexican heavyweight, hence it being for the youth title.

if there was no heavyweights in the world available then matching him with a cruiser weight would have been acceptable but putting a light heavyweight in there is not acceptable, they should have canceled his fight if they couldnt find a HW or CW, imagine nathan cleverly in with AJ, he could/would get seriously hurt

No doubt, not defending the eventual choice as it was dire but just giving some context. Frank's trying to build him though, so he's never going to cancel his fight - rightly or wrongly

true but there will be more shows for him to fight on and Warren should know better and he can't ever criticize another's promoters matchmaking.

I would like to see the Burton fight, but there is zero chance that Frank would allow Hearn to stage it. Hearn can make throw away comments about big money all he wants but in reality hes talking bollocks. Yarde will already be on a big whack wth Frank anyway, plus it wouldn't be PPV event so there is no big money for Hearn to throw him. That's why Eddie was happy to accept Mcguigans offer for OD to fight on their card instead of matching or bettering their offer...it's quite disgraceful actually considering he has the lucrative sky contract compared to cyclones Chanel 5 deal.

I believe Frank will probably want to go down his preferred WBO route towards a title shot - if so and we do miss out on Buglioni/Burton fights Assuming there isn't any interesting names on the WBO list I would like to see some creative matchmaking...something like bringing over a Chad Dawson or something like that

I doubt Yarde is earning that much, frank pays his fighters peanuts. And it could be on a ppv undercard which would earn them decent money, Anyway Hearn let OD fight on C5 as they paid a six figure sum which was a great offer, I doubt warren would pay a load of money to get burton over to fight yarde on bt sports like the mcguigans did with OD, therefore the only way this fight happens is if hearn pays yarde good money to fight burton on sky sports as warren wont pay burton a lot to fight on bt sport.
