great venue for it - hopefully the rematch lives up to the first one but I will have my money on an AJ knockout this time around

It looks like Klitschko will side-step this one and either go for a less dangerous opponent or retire for good.

 

I think he will go for it to be honest, lets not forget how he nearly beat AJ after a long time out, and he feels that with that performance he didn't lose, so yeah i see him taking it and wouldn't be surprised if he topples Joshua this time, Rubber match anyone?

Wlad was #obssessed last time, and still lost.
That will sow a seed of doubt in his mind surely, going up against his young conqueror who is likely to be getting better.
Everything favours AJ.

But .... the other side of reality says it's still a very winnable fight for Wlad. He was on the brink of victory and let it slip from his grasp.

 

I think Wlad should retire and go out with the respect he's been rightly receiving since the AJ loss. If he gets badly beaten in the rematch that respect will be gone. He could win of course, but it's a risk.

 

The fact that he pretty much had AJ out of there but was too cautious to finish the job may well lure him into the rematch

 

Let's not forget that a few extra million quid will only help lure Wlad into the re-match. I think he already knows he will take it, possibly playing mind games already by keeping AJ wait as long as possible.

 

Totally agree, I think Klitschko would be stupid not to take the fight. Guaranteed millions and he knows he can put Joshua on his arse. He also knows Joshua gasses at a point. He's done it twice now, first against Whyte and then majorly against Klitschko. Granted he gets a second wind like something I've never seen before but he needs to take two rounds off before that second wind kicks in. Wlad is a born winner and I'm sure he'll still feel he beats Joshua comfortably.

 

This is a bad idea for Klitchko to take this. I don't want to see Wlad get hurt.

He had his chance in the first fight, but didn't get it done. Let's not forget he also took some serious punishment in that fight and he's knocking on 42 years old. AJ will carry on where he left off and my money would be on a bad knockout win within 2 rounds.

 

AJ will have grown in confidence from the last fight with the manner of his victory, he also has youth on his side but he really needs to add a few extra strings to his bow in terms of his movement. He doesn't come at his opponent from angles, he has the movement of a ruck in chess, forwards, backwards, sideways. His head hardly moves. He's there to be hit and has we saw in the 5th & 6th round, Klitschko can still seriously bang. Although I fancy AJ in the rematch, this is no walk over.
