Best UK prospect???

Whats up with Joshua Buatsi ? I was sure he gonna turn pro after RIO

 

I saw a video on iFL a few months ago saying he'd just finished Uni or a Uni course or something so will be turning over soon.

Wonder if Hearn is waiting because it's a lot of new names for the general public to take in at once

 

Dubois (2-0) is Heavyweight, he's only 19 and come straight from the GB circuit... Still raw but has some talent

Yarde (10-0) is Light Heavyweight, for me probably the #1 talent at the moment the guy is called "The Beast" for a reason, he fights for the southern area title this weekend on BoxNation & BT sport

Kelly (2-0) is Middleweight, he was an Olympian and has a very unothodox style, I think you'll either rate him highly or not at all. Being coached by Adam Booth which is perfect for him.

All good prospects though... Kelly is with Matchroom ans Sky... Dubois and Yarde are with Warren & BoxNation, they both fight on Saturdays card

 

He was in a contract with GB which apparently expired last month.. He hasn't boxed since the Olympics

He was finishing his degree at St Mary's I think he graduated in Jan

The fact he hasn't renewed his GB contract should mean he's going to turn pro soon... I really hope so the guy looks a real talent

 

OD is a strange one isn't he... Seems to be improving every fight but his movement is still poor, natural power at the weight should be able to take him quite far though...

Some great domestic match-ups could be made with Josh Taylor / Robbie Davis Jnr and Tyrone Nurse though!

 

Really like what I've seen of Yarde, Dubois and Isaac Chamberlain. UK boxing is on a real high right now.

Haha easy to say that now after Davies got beat (badly). Josh Kelly has improved since I wrote that message though

 

I personally think Nathan Gorman is gonna be future champ and I really like Darryl Williams he's fun to watch and I like rakeem Nobel he's good weird style not a world beater but fun to watch

Josh Kelly, despite being a fan, is being very overrated here.
Andrew Selby showed great pedigree (don't know about now in pros) and Joshua Buatsi.

people have been too swayed by that left hook flurry tko, he does look VERY talented and him being under booth is perfect for him, but in another thread on the British forum, someone suggested he is the number 1 propsect in UK atm above Josh Taylor and to think that is crazy to me right now
