it looks like he gassed out. sometimes this happens, the unknown underdog trains like hell while the "superstar" gets complacent and get KOd.
I think most just wanted China to be in the mix with boxing because it's such a huge potential market. That was my only interest in the fighter. He doesn't appear to be the goods.
Oh those are some of the best type of moments in boxing. Shocking (to the audience) KO wins on foreign soil. Indongo/Troyanovski, Browne/Chagaev, Spence/Brook, I still watch from time to time
Ying Ying Ren from this pic is absolutely beautiful: https://heavyeditorial.files.wordpress.com/2015/02/wb13.jpg?quality=65&strip=all&w=440
Pure quit job from Shiming. Will be hard to recover from this... He was ahead on 2 cards at the time of the "stoppage" as well. Kudos to Kimura. Massive upset, and he wanted it way more.
lol at the "told ya so" sort of posters who crawl out of the woodwork and become active on here when things like this happen. Strangely enough you never hear these sort of peoples predictions before a fight.
This might actually shield the protected Shiming for the rest of his career... A rematch will almost certainly happen, and if it does(and he wins) a rubber match is a given. Shiming will be pretty old by the time that's through and will probably just opt to retire.
Well, he'll be a draw until the day he chooses to retire so it'll be interesting to see where his career goes from here. He's still promoted by Arum, right?
