I definitely know how much of a difference it makes at the highest level but to the untrained huge gains can be made.

If I got you to run 100m once a week for 10 weeks Id bet the difference between your best and worst time would be atleast 0.5 seconds. Amateur runners are inconsistent, they don't have the technique and form to be consistent.

AJ has one race in the pouring rain and you all think that's absolute peak performance lol?

Bs when you consider he was slaughtering Mo Farah and only running 11.5ish, the track can't have been good for running.

When I said he could run early 10s with dedicated training I wasn't meaning 30mins with a high school PE teacher lol.

I was meaning living the life of a sprinter and training like a sprinter for a couple of seasons.

Even the top international sprinters don't start their seasons running PB's, they run times 0.5seconds outside their PB's too

the world record held by Usain is 9.58 i believe. These AJ fans are just an embarrassment. Next thing theyll be saying is he could beat any UFC heavy weight with just a month of training or beat Lebron James 1v1

I've read article about Holyfield's training camp and he got 2:05 at 800m in early 90s

    Good po
Good post, someone with an idea, if anthony mundine at 18 years old can run 11flat then a 6.6 joshua dedicating his whole life to sprinting could run 10 flat. Joshua is an elite level athlete with very fast twitch fibres. Elite athletes can achieve elite results. Wake up those who think he couldnt, mainly couch potatoes lol

Corrie Sanders went under 11 seconds in 100 meters.

Does that make him most athletic Heavy ever?

To my knowledge, no sprinter at 6-6 has ever gone 10 flat. Bolt is 6-5 and a once in a century anomaly. He is simply an off the charts freak. Francis Obikwelu was also 6-5 and went under 9.9 but wasn't a consistent top level championship sprinter. I follow sprinting pretty closely and those are the only two at that height that I can think of to have those result. The odds that Joshua could ever be in their league is beyond far fetched to say the least.

Vitaly used to run eleven seconds also and so did Anthony mundine. This is nothing special for top athletes and compared to the top sprinters of the world he would look like a lumbering bear
