Broner should retire

It's all about his desire and dedication, if Broner gets the right people around him, the right trainer and dedicates himself completely there is a very good fighter in there.

I don't see him doing any of that but he has an opportunity to turn it around.

Let's not forget the history books will always show he was a 4 weight world champion, he has achieved already, it's now all about how he wants to be remembered or if that even matters to him.

 

Who would anybody in this thread pick Broner to beat that's an ELITE level fighter?

There are a ton of fighters with the potential to do well but don't live up to it. Fighters we'll never even hear about. Broner has been given every chance in the world to do it and he flushed it down the toilet with a couple of 20$ bills. Fans need to stop obsessing over this guy.

 

He's only 26 and still making money no need to retire. However he has shown a stunning level of inability to fix his flaws. He just can't fight when the opponent gets off first. Malinaggi exposed him and now Maidana, Porter And Garcia all have handled him.
He's really just an athlete that used his size advantage to beat smaller men.
I don't see him improving from here on out. So at 26 I believe his best days are already behind him. But retire? No.
Too much money would be left on the table at this point.

It was contingent on him winning his fights, if I remember correctly. Haymon is likely thr best option for him, seeing as how he milks money makers like Guererro instead of leading them to the slaughter in hopes of creating a new star.

Thatd be fine if this was his first fight against a high level opponent but this is the 4th time hes been in with a high level guy that has schooled him. Maidana, Porter, Paulie and now Garcia have made him look bad. 3 of those fights were by clear UD. I dont think he should retire but anyone who thinks this guy is anything more than a C level fighter is delusional.

 

With Crawford soon to have all 4 belts, good luck getting Broner a title. At 147 he loses to Spence and Thurman.
