    How do these fights end up if a prime Louis fought a 1960 Williams and a 1960 Sonny Liston fought a 1941 Buddy Baer?

    Williams might land that big, lucky lunch.

    Buddy Baer might use his size to wear down Liston and stop him late.

    Liston caught Williams with a hook in their second fight and that was a punch Louis threw brilliantly.

    They do, but I don't think that this would be one of them.

    Liston has the perfect tool set to dismantle Baer in my eyes.

    He would have the range to trade with him, but he would be short enough to duck under his punches.

    He would have the technical skill to outbox him, and could probably take his punches better than Baer could take his.

    Louis destroys Williams in 5 but has to take some serious leather. William S rocked Liston, no easy feat. Liston pounds baer over 6 rounds then drops him hard.

    I think Louis has more trouble with Williams than Liston has with Baer.
