ok wat are you trying to say tho by replying to my post? do you think he is a good fighter. that was all i was saying and that he doesnt back down from nowone takes on the best fighters.
No he doesn't. I was at the fight last night, floor seats btw and myself and a lot of others paid a lot of money to see a fight. Miller delivered, Charlo fought a cripple, and Broner looked lost and uninspired. He had no desire to win, he wouldn't let his hands go even though he was being punched regardless, and even had Garcia so full of confidence that he was sticking his chin out with his hands down while stalking him. The nerve of this guy post fight to say we'd all pay to see him fight tomorrow, no thanks Mr. Broner I'll happily pass. Good riddance
Wasnt this at 140lbs? Also, he's much bigger than Mikey. He only fought in 4 weight classes because he boiled down and rehydrated to beat up guys he dwarfed early in his career.
Well when we start thinking about how good a fighter is the first thing we do is examine their best wins...
Broner just did what his idol never did: take on a prime p4p star... Respect for doing it. We're far from the Mayweather mascarade over here...
Yeah, it was at 140 but I'm just throwing it out there because I don't think 147 is his best weight. I mentioned the other point about starting at 126 because if he were to start at 135 for example, his power and strength would've been better at 140/147 than it is now.
Broner always beat guys prior to now, whom he knew he could beat. He never fought a guy who was better or faster, whom he beat. I don't think he deserves much respect. not the way he talks.
He's just not very good though. I struggle to call Broner a good fighter. He is a guy with a good chin who will fight the good opposition. But that's really all that is. He's clearly not great and I don't even think he's good fighter. Of course we all expected him to be out of his depth with a guy like Garcia. Who despite being smaller than Broner is one of the top fighters in the sport. He's operating on a very high level. But even on the next level below we see guys like Porter and Maidana and he's out of his depth even at the good level. Who has the guy beaten? Rodriguez and DeMarco? FFS, this is a guy who won a world title by fighting a domestic level Argentinean. That's a flat out joke of a world title fight. A complete and total joke. Then we have DeMarco who's a slow plodder with almost nothing going for him technically and even his physical attributes leave something to be desired. Broner cannot even compete with B level fighters. I'll give him a pass for being out of his league as it pertains to fighters like Garcia. But it's the B level guys who also school him. He's not a good fighter at all.
He'll sign on and show up but against anyone remotely close to elite level, he shuts down in the ring. Talks so much you'd think he'd try his best to back it up, everyone should know by now that AB does not utilize any of his god given talents during fights that are close. He actually used then against chico but only because chico made him. If you don't make him fight he won't. It's crazy, I felt exactly like his corner when screaming at him to SIMPLY THROW ANYTHING. The very seldom times he would throw some shots you could see, he could get through to MG and make it a real fight. That fight was NOT competitive , it was competitive for PARTS of rounds that AB attempted to engage. He's the biggest waste of talent that accomplished way the **** too much for what hrs actually put in, inside during multi million dollar fights
he has a bunch of solid wins. but every step up he looses. hes a good fighter. u think his best win are demarco and rodriguez . and i think his best wins are paulie and khabib. and then prolly grandados. demarco is up there as well
