i've been knocked out twice and ill be knocked out again next week, so for this week, i'll be gloating. why are dogs bollocks seen as such a desirable trait, ive always wondered that
They aren't! Its just a popular nonsense phrase that arised in the UK in the 70's/80's with the Bees Knees etc. Also Viz magazine made it quite popular too
I'm glad you are enjoying your win! I'm waiting for Kiwi to get on here so I can gloat a bit with mine!
Fantastic match. Could have went either way all the way through. We were both close to outright KO's.
I was wondering before the Ortiz fight, if Ortiz had KO'd him in the 3rd and I won the round 10-9, giving us a score of 114-114. Would it have been classed as draw or do you use the amount of KD's scored to determine the winner? (in this case 2-1 to yourself)
Thanks, yes it was a very good battle, and a well-deserved victory for you! I'll be back, curiously enough this is the second time I've lost by one point due to a last round KD ... Now how did those judges see Broner winning 4 rounds, making it a close UD?
I'm not sure, I seem to have a vague recollection of KDs being used as tiebreaks, but I can't find that rule anywhere, I guess it would be up to @nellybc. Or we could have just made a 13th round to decide. If Corral had won, JordanK2406 vs pablinov would have been a draw with 2 KDs apiece.
That's unlucky! I have no doubt you'll be back looking at your record in the WBK and the League. There were a few decisions that went my way in that sense. Broner getting a close UD when it should have been wide, Ali getting a wide UD when he should have lost imo.
