Thanks, yes there are usually a few controversial/"unlucky" decisions per WBK bout. I've had my fair share of them in my favour as well, e.g. a clear robbery gave me a 10-8 round (which decided the bout) when I beat nellybc to win the title a couple of months back.

 

Hopefully I get a few more on my way up! Looking forward to the next round of match-ups, interested to see how Pinoy's resurgence goes.

 

August fight list seems a bit light compared to previous months!

 

I was hoping Ortiz was over the hill badly

 

I figured he'd cherry picked his return, couldn't imagine Ortiz taking a risk at this stage of his career.

 

there always is less boxing in August, i think its supposed to be a bit of a break month

 

It's usually the quiet point before the traditionally busy spell of early September through late November.
