It is and the chances of an upset are minimal. There should be a vote, those who want to keep it have to vote McGregor for the league... Those who don't get Mayweather and if no one votes keep it gets taken off?

@lufcrazy's trolling of @CST80 is making it sound like the majority wants to take off the Mayweather fight, which was my initial instinct. I was simply trying to play nice, but I'll think about taking it off again, no guarantees.

This genuinely isn't me trolling him. I actually think as a league we shouldn't support the fight.

It's an absolute mockery that the fight is being made and is generating so much money. Why isn't Floyd fighting Thurman and McGregor fighting Khalib?

Or at the very least Floyd vs Khan would be better than this.

You see I do think there's a tiny chance of am upset so I actually agree with CST on that front, I just think morally we should say no to this fight.

Unlike a lot of posters I happily pay ppv prices for fights I want to watch, especially those involving Mayweather cos like it or not he's a legend (plus ppv is a lot cheaper here) but this fight is a sham.

I hope McGregor destroys Floyd, but I'm certainly not paying £90 to watch it and I don't think the league should support such a mismatch.

I have no issue with May-McG being on the list. It is the main event of a major boxing PPV. If it is such an easy prediction, then make your pick and get the win added to your record. Will Mayweather knock him out or win a decision? May hasn't had a legit KO in almost 10 years! At least we might have some differences in opinion there.

No one picked Kimura over Shiming, but that doesn't mean we should drop the fight from the list.

Kimura also wasn't making his pro debut.

Is it a major ppv though? It's expensive and money spinning but not what I'd call relevant to the boxing world.

This is a circus act and a cash grab. Truly an insult to those who have cut their teeth in the sport and the fans who support it. I won't be supporting trash like this.... Going out of my way to set up a fight party for Golovkin/Alvarez. #supportrealfights #****mayweathermcgregor

Its a Floyd Mayweather Jr. match, it should be added, this isn't brain surgery, like Drinquor said, at least it could be fun to predict whether or not Mayweather gets the KO, and it should be added because its a boxing match on a PPV, here I'll put my money where my mouth is, and make it interesting for you all.

I'm switching to McGregor KO, I'll do this on principle not because I think he'll win, I'll take the loss, McGregor has fists and he'll being throwing them, if he lands who knows what might happen with a 40 year old man coming off of a two year layoff, crazier things have happened.

Like? I can't think of anything crazier that's happened in boxing. This would be a bigger upset than Tyson/Douglas.

But will there be a switch back?

As I said for me the reason is more of a moral reasoning.

I just think the league can make a stand in solidarity against the fight which is a circus act.

Even that... Which is considered one of the biggest if not THE biggest upsets of all time involved a legitimate contender. Sounding like a broken record here... But McGregor is making his debut against arguably the greatest boxer of the last 15 years... Not only that. He probably isn't conditioned to box 6 or 8 rounds never mind 10 or 12. That's something you have gradually work up to. Also... Even in MMA he's had cardio issues in fights that have gone longer than 3 rounds(admittedly he was bulkier and fighting at 170) and generally is viewed as a threat in rounds 1-2.

No, I can't, I'm taking that option off the table, its set in stone, I'm giving @Drinquor the full authority to ignore any post I make attempting to change it.

If its so easy make your Mayweather pick, and be happy with an easy win.
