The stories of the Would've, Could've, or Should've's!!!!!!!!!

I think the story of Gerrald McClellan is a very tragic one that most people in boxing should hear about.

Not really "tragic" but i feel bad for JMM. He's just as good, if not better, than the likes of Pacman, Barrerra, and Morales. But his popularity and career earnings are so far below them.

He outboxed Pacman in both figths. I liked what he said about his first fight, "I got KD the first 3 rounds and outboxed him the next 11 rounds. I felt i should've gotten the win based on that." And i think that is a legit claim.

Besides the ring deaths, what happened to guys like Sam Langford, Jimmy Bivins, and Jimmy Wilde are very sad.

Billy Collins obviously - but he didn't lose his life in the ring.
Personally I say Johnny Owen - the Merthyr Matchstick.

Tyson made a comment while in jail about the ****. I forgot how it went but to me why say it if guilty?

    Also

"In a 17-page motion filed with the Indiana Court of Appeals, Tyson said that Washington falsely accused Wayne Walker, a high school friend and classmate in Coventry, Rhode Island, of raping her in October, 1989.

Walker, who is White, said in his affidavit: "Desiree Washington and I were friends in high school. I was on the football team and she was a cheerleader. (In October 1989) ...her father, Donald Washington, called my house. He was very agitated, and he said that Desiree had told him that I raped her. He threatened to go to the police, but my mother and I persuaded him that it wasn't true. The police were never called. "The following school day, I cornered Desiree during "passing time" at school. I said, |Why the ... did you tell your father that I raped you?" She said, "I had to say something to cover myself ...or I would have been in big trouble.' I said, |Why the hell did you have to tell him that? Couldn't you tell him something else?'""

Wouldn't like to say what the saddest of all is, however Johnny Owen is a sad one indeed.

Although Lupor Pinter is a top man too.

Considering Pac outlanded him by double the jabs & powerpunches in the 2nd round, him claiming he outboxed Pac for next 11 rounds is pretty damm stupid and makes the whole statement void. As it is, him outboxing Pac for 11, or even 7 rounds is subjective and arguable amongst the judges, media and fans. Pac putting him on his ass 3* is not.

As for the thread, having watched the Deuk koo kim film, I would probably say him. Dont know how much of the film is true but for a guy to come out of poverty and realise his dream, only to die cos of what made him achieve that dream in the first place (courage) is quite ironic and sad.
