Genuine greats have been KO'd by Choynski, Flynn, Douglas and Rahman. Genuine greats have gone life and death with Hart, Galento, Firpo, washed up 188 pound Ezzard Charles, Marty Marshall, Jimmy Young, Crack Smokin' Bert Cooper...

When Wlad fought Peters he wasn't an 11 fight novice against a HW hall of famer like Johnson was.

Neither Johnson or Dempsey had the luxury of a million dollar training compound with footage of all their opponents fights playing on large TV screens 24/7.
These guys often went into fights never having even seen their foe , let alone being able to study their style.

Douglas is another moot point as you can look at that performance and be confidant in picking that Buster to beat a lot of genuine great fighters. Douglas was always very talented , Peter was not and nobody is taking un-skilled , molasses like Peter from both Wlad fights to trouble any half decent fighter in history.

James Toney had far less trouble with Peters then Wlad did ffs. And he never had to hold on for dear life either despite being half Wlads size , never mind the fact he was an old and obese middle weight at the time.

Yeah Raham is an average fighter and Lewis is a great but one thing greats do is take immediate rematch's to losses and Lewis overturned his loss in one of the most emphatic displays of revenge you'll ever see.

How many immediate rematch's has Wlads ever avenged ? Zero

He wasn't even good enough to rematch old and shot Corrie Sanders . Instead he left him run off with his WBO belt when he had a contractual rematch clause.
