Jose Napoles vs Floyd Mayweather for Welterweight Title.

Fight held in Los Angeles, because "Money" wants to prove something.

    Who wins?????

I'd favor Napoles, cuts would be my biggest worry.

Mayweather using his speed-advantage to win a razor thin decision, maybe MD or even SD. Mayweather got more lazy with his footwork and liked to stay in the pocket more but was still faster on his feet than Napoles and think would move more in this fight than usually at ww. IMO Mayweather's advantage in foot and hand speed would win him this fight. He's fast enough to stay away and slick enough in the pocket to avoid getting knocked out.

May has a great ring IQ to go along with his talent and skill. He knows how to turn a round at just the right time in order to win it with the judges. I feel that he would be in enough control of the rounds, spoiling mostly and then choosing his spots for scoring shots, that he would take a 2 point decision in a bout where the scoring didn't quite reflect how much he was in control.

Ah, the old ignorant 'Floyd would win due to foot and hand speed' bull****. You would think Floyd moved like Willie Pep and threw hands like Ray Leonard the way you fanboys go on about him.

    You don't know Jose Napoles.

That is a real boxer right there my friend.

Its amusing when Floyd fan's just assume Floyd would win a fantasy match due to foot and hand speed without having a clue about the other boxers style. Napoles footwork and fluid all round movement makes Floyd look like a mere cardboard cut out in comparison. His footwork and whole body movement in general was absolutely sublime. Seamlessly moving from offence to defence and back like butter. He also packed one of the most skilled offensive arsenals of all time.
    You Flo mo's are crazy!!!

I predicted a decision win for Mantequilla, but a tko win for him could very well result.

The following argument seems to be used in other threads, so I will test its validity now.

    "49-0"

Being the casual that I am, it was only recently I was introduced to boxing super-stud Jose Napoles. Even accounting for my man-crush on 'Mantequila' and my general dislike for Floyd I can't see past Napoles here to out hustle the smaller man and impose his will en route to a decision win. This is a guy who took several rounds of Monzon emptying the clip on him and never took a backwards step, Mayweather has nothing for him offensively but his defensive wizardry and chin should see him hear the bell. (not that FMJ would ever sign up for such a fight)

    Napoles UD

Yep, I'm a Mayweather fan. That is clearly what I am known for. A fanboy even. You know me. I love you.
