Chris Byrd in 2006 was the first #1 rated HW he ever faced. This is a FACT. The proof is him having beating NO top 5 rated HWs during the prior 10 years.
If you deny this as fact , then prove me wrong , or else stfu.

I don't and never will consider Wilder to be an ATG. You can't beat me so hurl personal insults instead. Story of your pathetic useless life on this forum.

Ha. I used to engage with him on the rationale that normally I'd have to give someone a £1 to get themselves a cup of tea/drugs to have a conversation that whacked out and he gave them out for free.

It was only after what seemed like an endless amount of fruitless discussion that I realised actually, conversations with fruitcakes aren't worth the time and effort - hence why him, Blizz, Shock, Seripoth, Herol, Toddl and a bunch of other clowns are now on my ignore list.

MVC has almost made his way on too but hasn't quite sealed the idiotic deal yet!

That's not really proof... If you weren't mentally handicapped and were actually able to apply context then you'd realize how hilarious stupid and biased this post is 1996-2000 the beginning of his pro career and journey to contention... Suffered a minor setback but achieved a few decent wins culminating with a win over Byrd.

From late 2000-early 2003 is really the only time frame you'd have to argue your point... So. Who did he duck and where's your proof of this? I want to see all these guys he ducked along with the proof.

2003-2006 was a rebuilding period where he didn't hold a major title and thus wasn't obligated to fight contenders.

Again more hot air. You weren't able to provide any proof of your claims and will now try to take me in circles.

You defend him tooth and nail because your forum rivals are critics... If you had ANY consistency you'd apply the same kind of criticism that you've applied to Wlad here. You're a complete ****ing agenda driven buffoon.

You know there are people who believe the earth is flat and nobody gives a damn about them. There are always outsiders like yourself trying to question common sense and pass themselves off like more knowledgeable than the majority. Fact is you're a dime a dozen.

There's no proof Ottke ducked Calzaghe but everybody knows he never wanted anything to do with him.

Wlad never fought his way towards Lewis because he nor his management never had any ambition of facing him.

The point i made , which is a fact , is Wlads didn't fight the #1 rated HW until 2006. Against Byrd who was a total non-issue in the prior 10 years when the division was a lot more competitive.
Partly because Wlad wasn't good enough when the division was better and partly because he never fought any of the top dogs.
He didn't dominate until the division went to chit.
It was so bad Holyfield was able to hand around till he was nearly 50 , even getting robbed against one of the top 3 rated HWs.
Wlad lost at the begining when it was good , succeeded when it was the worst in its history , and lost badly again when it got better

A guy who fought all comers and ducked no one retiring is good thing... But you're completely content with Wilder fighting bums for the better part of 3 years which has been negative for the division. You're a complete joke.

Well done to Wlad on a smashing career.

If anything he should have retired after the Jennings debacle, knowing that anyone over the age of 40 at HW is toast at the top level, and seeing his declining reflexes and ability to throw a shot.

But atleast it gave us the drama of handing over the torch to AJ.

The Fury loss will not be a good thing on his legacy. Because Fury is the Wigfield-Saturday night one hit wonder of HW boxing. Fury is never coming back.

Good decision. He'd lose worse in the rematch.

Now AJ can get back to the business of establishing himself as the no 1 in the division. He needs to get past Ortiz, Wilder.
