    Lame excuse. When Lewis needed a last minute replacement for an opponent he picked vitali klitschko, a young undefeated fearsome fighter. When shawn Porter needed a last minute replacement, he picked erik bone who was young and only had one loss. When wilders opponent was busted for PEDs, he found another opppnent.

    In all three examples they found another fighter IN THEIR OWN WEIGHT CLASS. Ggg looked down TWO weight classes when he supposedly couldnt find an opponent after the eubank situation. Thats a weak move, especially when he critcized canelo.

    Charlo isnt a last minute opponent, hes a former champion, undefeated, and wether you like it or not hes the #1 contender. He earned that position fair and square. If team GGG has a problem with that theyre hypocrites.

    I'm not making excuses for myself, let alone people I've only seen on screen.
    I would agree with the point your making, but, in the examples you've listed (yeap, even the Wilder's one) all of those opponents wanted those fights. You think Golovkin would've resorted to fighting Kell (or Eubank) if Canelo, Saunders, Jacobs and a long list of other fights would've been on the table and he'd be able to get anyone decent in the ring on short notice? No, he wouldn't. He's never been the one to call the shots like that and doubt he will be.

    As for fighting mando's, Golovkin's on a pretty impressive title defense streak so provided **** doesn't go south for both him and Charlo I don't think we'll see him start ducking people out of a sudden.

    Why does Abel give his time to guys like this? I get why he rubs so many the wrong way but you have to admit he makes himself available for interviews many of which are from toxic people with agendas who pollute this sport like that disgusting Donte.

    The same people here were shouting Bellew down when he fought Haye...ofcourse no similarity at all..Charlo could barely make amn impression on a distressed one legged fighter...Heiland went down when he missed...Charlo would be better off financially & experience wise after the BJS fight, makes perfect sense for both fighters. If then GGG trys to avoid strip him, but I seriously doubt that Charlo would be worrying a gladiator of destruction as the mighty European Titan known as GGG...Lol

    Kell brook brought his career high payday, now canelo is bringing a new career high payday.

    He'll have plenty of time before he has to fight another mandatory, that's if he wants to continue fighting after 30 straight years with some form of fighting.

    lol at least Haye was able to actually throw bombs with mean intentions after his leg gave out on him, whereas there was literally no point in Heiland being in there.

    I'd rather see GGG vs BJS after the Canelo fight, should GGG emerge victorious that is. Jermallo vs BJS would be a good match up too. Can Jermallo deal with the slick gypsy style though?

    If brook is justified because of "paydays" then he needs to change his motto and be consistent in what he says (or tell Abel to stfu). He came under fire for the "anyone from 154-168" macho talk to changing his stance to "all the belts, chasing legacy not money". Now apparently belts arent important, he ignored saunders call outs and allowed golden boy to dictate to him how to run his career.

    He complains everyone ducks him and now he has a chance to fight a young undefeated #1 ranked fighter. WHATS. THE. PROBLEM?

    Glassy do you seriously think it originated from GGG, obviously he is (rightly) being advised by Loeffler to go this way...so he has taken some astute financial advise that earns him more....whats the problem? Your Boss says to you "Hey if you do it this way from now on Glassy, we can increase your pay by 70%" will we hear you say " Tut hey thanks boss but no thanks...I want to come to work really hard & earn less"...
