Ortiz might get the shot first.

    Ah, you're a troll!

The reason why AJ fights him is because he is his mandatory.
The reason why Wlad fought him was because he was his mandatory.

    This!

And from what i understand his decline is based on his performance while winning five fights since. Sure, a fight with Wlad, Povetkin, Wilder, Parker or T Fury would be bigger but if Pulev is the kind of opponent AJ fights otherwise I'm very happy.

I'd be surprised if it lasted more than 5 rounds. Pulev doesn't have the mobility he used to have 5-6 years ago. He'll be a sitting duck for AJ.

I haven't seen more lopsided poll. This fight should not take place next. If it does it's a shame.

No, if Pulev was still at the level he was at when he fought Wlad, he'd have about a 30-40% chance of winning. He's not. He's way worse and he's going to get murdered.

I hope the Ortiz fight gets made because it's the right thing to do. Now if Ortiz don't care if it's Wilder or Joshua who fights him I can't argue with that, however he prefers Joshua and he has been waiting a long time. I don't think that Joshua cares who he fights because he believes in himself so Hearn needs to back up and let the young man rumble.

If the fights in London, I think Pulev simply freezes at a sold out O2 and takes a really heavy 2nd round KO

Vlad has already knocked Pulev out! Pulev has zero chance, I'd rather see him fight Ortiz. We will never see Wilder fight Joshua, no way! After Stiverne, Hearn will order the WBC to make Sconiers mandatory or someone like him....................

Can someone explain to me why Ortiz is a world beater and Pulev is a bum? Their records are really similar, (I think Ustinov and Chisora together rates higher then Jennings but it's close) the only thing that stand out is that Ortiz have a higher KO rate. But that's not only got to do with power, it's also about style/tactics.

If you believe punching power is the most important thing then he's your man but how does that make him so much better?

Is it because Pulev is from Bulgary? Or is it because he looked bad in one of his recent outings while Ortiz put on a masterclass against Scott and managed to KO Allen?

I'd rank Ortiz over Pulev, but not by much and not based on their resumes'.

AJ should win this by wide and clear UD as I suspect Pulev will come to lose and NOT get KO'd (as opposed to his attempts vs. Wlad where he tried to go toe-to-toe).

Pulev didn't move because Wlad fought him on his illegal spongy canvas.

Joshua won't have to cheat like Wlad did to beat Pulev.
