I don't think he's gone backwards, I just don't think he's improved a great deal. Even though he's still young, at this point he is what he is. They'll be working on refining some aspects of his game rather than big changes. They probably feel more confident after GGG-Jacobs, although I doubt his team would be naive enough to change their game-plan based on that. I used to think GGG would just annihilate Canelo - now I'm leaning towards a competitive first 5/6 rounds before GGG breaks him down late. I don't think it'll be easy though.
