That being said, Stevens could and should have thanked Golovkin for helping him make 160 with consulate ease!
If ggg has no hunger in his eyes where can we assume it went, or is it lost for good. I'd like only your professional and intimate opinion
He is thinking about retirement, testosterone levels are dropping. He had an extensive amateur career as well. I think after the Canelo fight he should gain some muscle and move up divisions, he'll look rejuvenated like Hopkins did when he moved up. These guys running miles and miles to stay in a division wear themselves out. Lift some weights and run less, the fire will come back a bit.
lol Yes. And I'd personally like to extend my gratitude to GGG for giving up this comedic moment. https://ibb.co/mt99Ma
and yet he's managed just fine so far with those same pair of eyes. i watched a show on Discovery last week about great white sharks. To me, their eyes look always about the same--whether just swimming, or whether they're about to eat a tuna in one bite. watch GGG in a face-off during a pre-fight weigh-in; i suppose one could say "there is no hunger in his eyes" because indeed, he does look sort of impassive. but that's because GGG knows what's going to to happen (and nearly always so does the chap standing opposite him) as i've said before, the emotionless look on GGG's face during a face-off reminds me of The Borg from Star Trek just before The Borg attacked, they sent always the same message to their victim: We are the Borg. Lower your shields and surrender your ships. [You] will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile I suppose someone might say "i don't think the Borg is going to win this one, because, to be honest, their voice just lacks the passion, intensity, and hunger of a champion" and so it does. but not like it matters. They know what's going to happen GGG's eyes communicate the same message as the Borg's; ok, there's no "hunger"--just knowledge.
clicked play, no idea what i was getting into, unable to get it out of my head i could be wrong, but seems like this song's about a different kind of "hunger" than what the OP is talking about
Golovkin has a poker face while boxing. He does not show anger, he does not show his hand......................Golovkin enjoys boxing, training and is up for this fight, this is what he has been waiting for for a long time now..................I have never seen him punch so hard as I've seen him lately....................damn he hits hard and looks faster than ever, he can't wait for this fight to happen.................
GGG will be just eager to get into the ring with Canelo as he was when he wanted to teach Stevens a lesson in getting beat up. The hunger is there.
well...no, not every day, but he did take a break from watching the Mayweather-McGregor presser to check out a few minutes of one of GGG's public workout on youtube
if you're implying GGG is gonna give Canelo a Full Curtis (that's where you get hit so hard you have this surprised look on your face because you forget your name is Curtis)...that's bad news for Canelo
