Abel and team Golovkin whining about charlo #1 spot

Remember when Quillin, Sturm and other belt holders avoided him like the plague? Yeah, seems like your memory is selective. That and your standards obviously, because you take no issue whatsoever with fighters you like facing woeful opposition for an extended period of time.

 

Nope. Quillin is a coward that ducked Korobov too. I actually really liked Korobov and Quillin ducking him potentially ruined his career. Imagine if Korobov beat Quillin instead of getting knocked out by Lee, where would he be now? Oh and Sturm. He was an excellent fighter!

I don't get what that has to do with my post though. My claim is that GGG fans were all for mandos and defending mandos, till it was someone that was a threat. Now they're like **** MANDOS! We hate them!

 

Golovkin never ducked anyone at MW - a claim you can't make for Stevenson or Wilder - two fighters you like A LOT more than Golovkin.

I think there's some merit to what's being said... Some at least on a sub conscious level view Charlo as a threat - but many people are just displeased with his being made a mandatory after only 1 fight in the division in a fight that was extremely unconvincing due to Hellands form and physical condition. In any case... Charlo obviously is worthy of fighting for the title in terms of skill, no question about it..

 

So if they are displeased due to Charlo's fight with Heiland, why weren't they displeased with all of his other godawful mandos.

 

Yeah that's not very consistent. Anyways. Golovkin is in the final stretch of his career and his nothing but big fights in his future. Coming off a fight with Jacobs - Canelo and then Saunders and Charlo if he wins. Time to start picking at the guys you like who are avoiding big fights like the plague. Put on your big boy pants and get to it!

See this is exactly what I mean... You refuse to criticize and will find any way to defend these guys simply because you like them. What a joke! Talk about double standards.

 

This is where you get me wrong. I mostly criticize boxers that are constantly being dickrided and defended. I don't add onto the hatred a boxer has when 99% of this forum already posts negative things about them.

If it was I wouldn't criticize GGG now would I? I'm a huge GGG fan. Love watching him fight. Who are you to tell me who I'm a fan of? I enjoy watching GGG and Loma fight, and tune into them live every time, but I'm not a fan? FOH.
