What has Lennox Lewis gotta do to earn some respect round here?

    Actually Lewis did not beat holyfield twice. He has a win and a draw.
    You could say that judging the first fight was not fair but then again the same is true for the 2nd fight

    You must have glossed over the part where I said "so start showing the man some respect".

    Instead of nitpicking you guys should be getting on your knees and thanking Lennox Lewis for the privilege of being able to witness the only true great HW of the past 40 years.

    I'm sorry, but you really come across as a subjective Lewis ****.

    He gets respect, it's just that you overrate him.

    You mistake pointing out facts as "nitpicking" and "showing lack of respect"

    Liking/Loving a particular fighter should have little to do with ranking or regarding them highly! Ali is one of my least favorite fighters but I rank him #2 Frazier is my favorite but I rank him 7-9 alongside Holyfield/Tyson. Azumah Nelson, Tony the Tiger Lopez, Willie the Worm Monroe are some of my favorites...some I rank highly others not so high. Personal affection should not alter ranking or respecting in regards to rating/ranking

    I don't actually love Lennox Lewis, I just don't think he gets a fair shake round here. He obliterated most the same opponents that Tyson obliterated, only Lennox obliterated them quicker. Plus Lennox had a lot more impressive scalps than Tyson did.

    If Tyson had the career that Lennox did, he would be in every single person's all time top 3... without a shadow of a doubt! Probably #1 in some people's books.

    He's comfortably in my top ten, a stylistic nightmare for anyone,excellent, intelligent boxer, with tremendous power.

    Yeah but he didn't beat a prime Superman. Why didn't Lennox Lewis fight a prime Superman?

    Lewis ducked Superman, hence Lewis gets no respect.

    In all seriousness though, Lewis would be a H2H monster who could potentially beat an heavyweight champion ever. Even Primo Carnera.

    I agree. I know I'm saying something unheard of on boxing24 and I know I might be laughed off the forum, but Lennox Lewis would pull out the win over Carnera.

    Now don't crucify me for saying this and I know that this is a revolutionary opinion around these parts....but Lennox Lewis just might have beaten Primo Carnera. I see no chance for a young Tyson vs Carnera. None at all....

    The answer I really want to know is what would happen if worlds and time collided and Primo Carnera had to face the Ambling Alp? Who wins that one
