I am sure I am not the only one who has watched some fights (like some movies) over and over again and yet they never get old. I just rewatched Sanchez vs Nelson and Arguello vs Mancini for like the 100th time. I got a few more but I will reveal them later! Also watched Morales vs Pac I, yesterday for the 20th + time. How about you? What are your go to fights that you never seem to get tired of?
I like Pavlik Taylor 1 And although I didn't like Hamed but I did like Kevin Kelly I watch that fight a lot. So many fight I can rewatch but I'll just throw those two out for now
Trinidad vs Vargas Trinidad vs Joppy DelaHoya vs Quartey Barrera vs Morales I Frazier vs Ali I Marciano vs Walcott I Duran vs Leonard I
Franklin Johnson 2 Norton Holmes Arguello Escalera 1-2 Duran Moore Palomino DeJesus 3 Barerra Morales 1-2 Gomez Pintor Hagler Mugabi Frank Fletcher Clinton Jackson Fenech Villisana Nelson 1 Mancini Kim Benn McClellan Salido Juanma Carter Benton Fernandez Chavez Rosario Taylor Toney McCallum 1 2 Ward Augustus Gotti 1 Little Red Ayala Foreman Lyle Braxton Franklin 1 Walcott Louis both McGuigan Pedroza Hearns Roldan These jump out immediately
Duran vs Barkley is probably the fight l've watched the most. Duran vs Moore is another one as is Lewis vs VK.
I like Foreman - Norton .. also Holmes - L. Spinks, Hagler - Minter, Bowe - Holyfield 1, Tyson - Holyfield 1
Ali - Foreman, Hearns - Duran/Cuevas, Holmes - Witherspoon, Tyson - Holyfield, Hopkins - Tarver, Rosario - Bramble, Eddie Mustafa Muhammad - Johnson/Martin, Page - Tillis to name a few.
My choices are based on the drama involved. Is the smaller man putting up a good fight against the bigger man? Is technique overcoming hand velocity? Is it a close brawl? I find one-sided fights where one man is a punching bag such as in Holmes vs Tax Cobb or Holmes vs Ali or Floyd vs Gatti and Hearns vs Duran, Tyson vs Spinks, Jones vs Paciencia, Ali vs Bayone Bleeder, and Dempsey vs Willard boring.
