Kid Akeem Anifawoshe.. Las Vegas tragedy.. Kid boxed against Robert Quiroga, and the fight was so ferocious that both men close to death after the bout, Akeem fell Ill and later returned to Poverty in his native Nigeria, he sought the help of his shamen or witch doctor who gave him some kind of cleansing or religious blood transfusion to make Anifawoshe better, Akeem lost gallons of blood in the brutal ceremonial cleansing and died .. Anifawoshe was a popular guy in Las Vegas but often slept on the streets and in doorways , he never had money , he was living amongst bizarr luxury in absolute poverty.

Michael Watson - will never be the same again but he completed the london marathon a few years back which shows how far he has come since his injury

Yeah, he was stabbed to death by a member of a Biker gang.

Anifowoshe's death was described as a "brain injury". Probably related to the fight with Quiroga, but some rumors have said he was trying to box again in Nigeria.

Anifawoshes death was due to numerous infections following the visit to his witch doctor...... his brain was starved when pints of blood were removed from his body .. a very odd carry on..

Wow, I remember him and how good he was. He was pushed too fast to fight Quiroga who was a hell of a champion. He fainted in the ring. He tried to make a comeback and I believe a tue-up fight, he fainted int he shower to never wake-up. This is what I remember. I don't see how he could have gone back to poverty after a fight like that, but I do remember that he could not fight again due to the damage of the title fight. Poilitics....they should have taken care of him with any job instead of letting him back to poverty???

    Collins, Jr.
    Jimmy Garcia...Gabriel Ruelas fight.

Also in the first press conference after he was accused Don King whipped up an hour long tirade about how Tyson was really a decent human being and no way did he **** the girl, she went with him at 2am etc etc etc....after the conference was finished and Tyson thought the cameras and microphones were turned off he turned to his friend, not sure of his first name but his surname is Horne...and he said "I should have killed the *****" :rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

The cameras and microphones weren't turned off, incidentally and I think Greg Garrison used that as a stick to beat him with during the trial. If only Tyson could have learnt to keep his trap shut....

Which is why I take great delight in thinking of him how he is now, sitting in a world of darkness in a pile of his own ****, wondering how long he's got to wait before he descends into hell :yep

**** McClellan. If I were the Queen I'd give Nigel Benn a knighthood on general principle.

I suggest you read up on the case. She didn't call him into a hotel room at 2am it was the other way round. What happened inside that hotel room I suspect we'll never know, but Tyson was a moron for setting himself up for that to be honest, whether he actually raped her or not.

I know it wasnt 2 AM, but it was late I was being sarcastic. Even if Mike called her she knew what was up. Either she was slow or she wanted money. After that you never heard about her again. **** you still here about Ronald Goldman

His point remains the same though. Mike ****ed up..and set himself up for that sort of trail. It doesn't help that he made himself a lot of enemies with his alignment with Robin Givens (claiming that Mike was abusivee and what not), Teddy Atlas (who claimed that Mike had a history of women problems dating back to his teens), Don King and what not.

Mike should've picked his tang more carefully.

It actually was 2am, that wasn't my point. My point was that it was definately Tyson that called her, and Tyson that enticed her into that hotel room. Whether she wanted sex or not is the question.

Funnily enough I always thought Tyson was railroaded in that one too until I read Gregory Garrisons book recently, now I'm not so sure. He may just be the ****** he was accused of being for all I know. As I said before though the only two people that know the truth are Tyson and Washington. Your statement about her not being heard of again afterwards doesn't exactly fit the description of a gold-digger though does it? If she'd been just after the green then surely she'd be a regular on the talk shows?
