Leave pac alone? Pac doesn't have to fight horn. He is welcome to organise his own fights. He tried and failed with Khan for 38 million. Horn and Duco have put up 10 million dollars for him. He can say no to the money if he doesn't like the taste of it. If he can get a better deal some where else good luck to him. But don't act like a petulant child, and don't act like he had no say in the matter.

I don't really care. I usually assumes elite level athletes are at least somewhat arrogant or cocky. What do you expect a fighter to say before the fight? "I'm going to lose" "I'm going to fight in my awkward style and use some illegal tactics, hopefully the judges will give me the benefit of the doubt again" Some fighters can over-the-top and tasteless (Mayorga-Spinks, Duran-Leonard 1, Bramble-Mancini). I don't really like it when the trash talk level gets THAT bad, but afterwards things often turn out all good and it's left in the past. Mayorga said he would reunite Cory with his dead mother, while Mayorga would go back to his family which was alive and healthy. Afterwards he apologized and Cory didn't seem to hold a grudge. Duran reportedly called Leonard's wife, Juanita, a 'puta' (*****) and would spit in her direction and also Ray's sister. When their fight ended, Ray tried to touch gloves, Duran brushed him off, pushed him, and then proceeded to talk trash to Wilfred Benitez and point to his nuts. Later on Duran and Leonard were cool with each other and had mutual respect. After Hagler-Duran ended, Duran went to Ray and told Ray to fight Hagler because he was better and would beat Hagler. Bramble called Mancini a "murderer" when they fought a couple years after the Duk Koo Kim tragedy. Eventually they became friends and Bramble would go to Mancini's fights and support him. A little trash talk is not a big deal at all.
I'm not sure what he ever said that angered folks. That he was going to try his best in a sporting competition and he believed he'd be able to defeat Pacquiao, which he did? Pac fans are the worst. The Horn fight brought them out in full form yet again. Not surprisingly many who reveal themselves (as many went into hiding after KTFO6 and the rest went into hiding after FOTC) are live-in-the-moment overreacting hype men, the posters that say super casual things, and the trolls.
