What about their third fight in 2011? The one that most people thought Marquez won comfortably. What about that one? Or the one before that, where most people know it was a 1 point fight either way, or the one before that, where most people think Pac got a gift draw? None of those? Just KTFO6? I think every boxing fan would still know exactly who Marquez is without any of those fights.
That is precisely the reason it struck me remarkable. There is always this phony narrative, but my eyes know what they saw on that fabled occasion. In the final analysis, JMM removed the judges and all possibility of subjective bias from the equation and such videos prove that the amount of luck involved was minimal. Magnificent is in no way overstating the case. No wonder the revisionists keep freaking out. They have nothing. El Dinamita > MP all day and twice every Sunday.
"If you watch it upside down hanging from your ceiling, wearing a welders' mask, having your girl pour hot candle wax down your butt crack, in slow motion on rewind, you will see Manny rise up from the illegal dirty shot! He is the champion of the people, no matter how much urine Marquez may have drank to bulk up for that fight, CongressManny is still P4P #1 to this day! Never lost a legit fight. Only bad decisions and dirty tactics! 4-0 vs. Marquez, everybody knows."
Its not hate its just the truth. He was a great warrior. I will give him that. Great uppercuts and great heart but not relevant without pac. Or for the last 3 years.... Retirement was long overdue.
The word 'discuss' when used as a concluding senetence on this site really has become the tool of the the most boring demented posters. They don't really want to discuss anything they're just trolling and I for the life of me can't understand why the **** they bother.
The lack of boxing knowledge and acumen that floats around on here is shocking. This guy just called a first ballot HOFer, and one of the top Mexican fighters (not to mention one of the most highly skilled Mexican fighters) Mediocre. Jesus......
Ariza Shakes are the new Kool-Aid and Pac's more infatuated fans schlurp that **** down like it's going out of fashion. Everyone else is a prime, uninjured PED cheat whilst he's always been all natural, either undernourished or shot all the while carrying crippling injuries. He really is a modern marvel. Undoubtedly the GOAT at boxing and probably basketball too.
How do you argue against the circumstantial evidence, though? Let's take a look: Marquez hired a doping expert, hid this fact from the public, then blew up in size and muscle at his advanced age while increasing punching power, maintaining his speed and timing, and incredible stamina. Showed up at the Alvarado fight w/ galaxies of chest and bacne. 110% doping. Mayweather received illegal IV fluids for a non-existent medical condition (he has repeatedly cited "severe dehydration," which not a single person on this planet actually believes. 100% doping. Pacquiao wanted a window of no blood testing (w/ unlimited urine) --- the window where no one actually juices because the gains aren't there to be had so close to the fight. A little shady.
Marquezs resume is almost entirely founded upon the Pac wars. Barrera was old. Couldn't clearly beat John or Norwood. Guys like Pac/Morales/Barrera had more than just 1 man.
Before Pacquiao granted Marquez a title shot JMM was holding down a 9-5 job. Like Joe Smith was. Marquez was a working class man before Pac. Anybody who says Pac didn't single handedly make JMM is not thinking clear.
Pac also said he was afraid of needles despite having had plenty of tests in the past and a number of tattoos. His head looks seriously enlarged and his superhuman looking performances started to seriously tail off once he'd been publicly accused and he became open to drug testing. If you want to accuse the above you have to agree that on the balance of probabilities they're probably all cheating.
