I'm sure he means a meaningful punch that hurts Mayweather. I don't think that will happen neither unless Floyd throws all caution to the wind and tries to KO Conor recklessly.

Floyd is shot but he's still many times better than an MMA fighter who was outboxed by Nate Diaz.

If I was McGregor I'd go for body shots cough balls and KO Floyd.
Floyd can't take dat 'body work', he will fold like Bowe.

It's a proven fact that reaction time and explosiveness fades away with age. Those talents besides his smarts basically made Floyd. He simply put it together and crafted skills out of those.

Even if he comes in more prepared than ever.. Will 90% of peak Floyd's speed and reactions be enough?

Your annoyance with Naggie's behavior reminds me of Achilies' annoyance with the king's behavior in this clip.

"You sack of wine!" he calls the rascal.

He's an annoying little **** isn't he?! Lol I'm glad Conor used and abused him like a $20 Harlem street walker.

McGregor will not enter the ring without knowing the variety of punches, such as the cross, uppercut, hook, jab, bolo punch employed in regular professional boxing matches and how to use them or counter and evade them.

It's his seemingly nervous need to endlessly gab that I find annoying. As if he's out of control. That accompanied by this wild look in his eyes as if he has just contemplated a resurrection from the dead.

Well, consistency could be evidence of constant rehearsal and good memorization. However, I agree that if McGregor is telling the truth why doesn't he then release the video?

No, I am not saying that I know for certain. The point that I find strange is that Malignaggi should talk trash about an MMA fighter who is notorious for publicly losing his temper when verbally provoked and then calmly appear at McGregor's gym with a broad innocent Italian smile on his narrow face in order to shhhhpar.

It seems like all the worst people get all the work in boxing. RJJ stole from HBO for years and how did they reward him, with a job doing color commentary.

People have to stop giving Floyd no credit if he wins against McGregor. It will not be an "easy" fight. McGregor is going to go in there and try to knock his head off.

When I first saw McGregor spar against Van Heerden, I thought Floyd would KO him in the first round. It was that bad, but then I saw more videos and the guy has skills. The way he fought against Van Heerden was in such a way where his muscle memory was utilized to block things like kicks, that come on the way back.

Remember, Malinaggi admitted that McGregor won about 15 rounds to 5 rounds, so while Malinaggi obviously is not Mayweather, the KEY factor in this fight will be if McGregor respects Floyd's power.

If McGregor doesn't respect Floyd's power, Floyd could be in for a long night and a possible upset. It's not like McGregor is off the street. The guy is ****ing insane stepping in a cage and he's one of the most dominant fighters in the UFC.

Yes, of course, UFC fighters aren't close to boxers with their hands, but his timing is impeccable and he has good power. It will be a good win for Floyd if he wins. Stop selling this fight short.

I really hope that Mayweather makes McGregor look like a clumsy fool, but I just don't think that's the case. I would love to eat my words though and I hope Mayweather goes out and puts on a highlight performance, but knowing Mayweather and how he ruined the sport for years with his incessant ducking, it would not surprise me if he put the final nail in the coffin of boxing by getting knocked out by McGregor.

Although...of course boxing would recover, but still, it would be a big blow to the sport. Stupid risk in my opinion, but at least he'll make a **** ton of money.
