Best two were George and Frazier III.

The greatest Ali victory was Foreman, then Frazier III.

The most impressive Ali victory, however, was his punch-perfect demolition of Cleveland Williams. That performance was -- and still is -- just about as good as it gets:

@ Orneirokritis Well....the win was impressive but Ali's opponent was not so competitive. Williams was just walking straight to eat punch after punch.

Ali was a bad man. Knocked him down backing up, weaved, bobbed and danced, full arsenal of punches, jabs to the body and head, hooks , right hands and fast and fluid combinations. Never seen it in a heavyweight before or since.

KO 8 Foreman was Ali's defining moment as "the greatest". If Foreman would have KO'd Ali -- as many "experts" thought he would -- Ali's legacy would have been very different.

According to Brittanica Online, the total of punches landed by each man in the fight were: Muhamad Ali 100, Cleveland Williams 3.

Ali vs Williams = stoppage by one hundred bee stings.

Ken Norton broke Ali's jaw in the first fight but the latter could kept fighting him till the end. What a heart of the Champion.

Imagine how much different Kenny Norton's legacy would have been had the judges been a bit more kind (many would say fair) to him against Ali.

Foreman was almost insurmountable yet Ali gave everything for that win.
