    He sure did. Nobody could see how Foreman could be beaten. But Ali not only came up with a plan, he executed it to perfection.

    Frazier III as I feel both fighters went to the absolute brink of human endurance and courage that night. It was gladiatorial and effectively killed them both but Ali was victorious. Now you could argue that without cornermen, Ali quits before Frazier is pulled out by Benson but the result stands.

    Nah......I really don't think so man. Ali intended to go for the kill (KO Frazier) in round 15 IMO. All of his life, Ali quit just one time when he fought Larry Holms.
    Yeah...Ali said after the post fight interview that he's thinking about quiting if the fight continues to round 15 but I didn't believe what he said because I had never seen him quit before.

    The foreman win was genius level. You just don't see things like that happen, they shouldn't happen. It was shocking what he did in that fight with all the odds against him. To have the confidence to know he could win when no one believed it. Where does that come from? I can't think how that achievement was topped. Better fight with joe Frazier but not the same glory, even Ali said himself foreman was his greatest win.

    1. His fight against Parkinsons. He could have easily shut himself away, something like that can crush a man, but he carried on making public appearances and showed the world he wasn't beaten. He never quit. Ever.

    Sorry to break it to you dear leftard, but you do realise Ali was in favour of racial segregation? He even spoke at a klu klux clan rally, and supported a white segregationist in his run for the presidency.
